    for new rugby fans, France level may be a surprise because in fact, they had a bad spell for 8 to 9 year after the loss of the 2011 RWC final... because they did try something "new" ... that didn't work...
    but now, they're back to their roots with rugby champagne... the difference with the original? Some "crazy" plays are trained instead of being simply flash of genius, meaning they can now repeat and even more important, set up the condition for some brilliant plays instead of improvising when the stars align...

    @101Throat Před 2 lety +23

    8:40- The play doesn't stop unless the ball goes out of bounds or a penalty is called
    9:17- when a tackle is made, a ruck can form in which each team competes for position over the ball, whoever is over the ball can have a separate player reach over to grab the ball
    12:40- they are supposed to roll away but they were super tired,
    13:12- hurdeling can be considered dangerous play if your cleats touch the defender
    15:03- other team gets to throw it in

    Majority play this sport for 10-13 years professionally as you get older in this sport the more valuable your experience is, the 28yr olds and older are needed because they are the most mentally the toughest and great leaders, so they embrace the pain more and be willing to go the extra mile, because the physicality is just imbedded into their brains. But like after 35 they usually retire

    France is BLUE mate ! Allez les Bleus :) thanks for watching, very cool that americans get to learn about this sport, the best of all in my opinion as it relies on players being fierce, strong, passionate, intelligent, full of endurance and stamina, skillful, cool headed and REALLY REALLY team oriented, everyone is essential to the overall success. All that while throwing their body on the line, getting down, getting up and starting all over again. Impressive each and every time.

    You don't get turf burn on grass
    France won under 20's world cups back to back 2018/19. Those players are now transitioning to the senior team. Dupont and N'tamack (9+10) are arguably the best half back pairing on the planet. The French pack is as big and as mobile as any pack in rugby
    I personally believe that France will win the next world cup ( in France) in 2023.
    You should watch the Six Nations which starts in February to learn more about international rugby. It comprises of England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales France and Italy.

They say it themselves. They mention that French rugby is unpredictable and French team has the ability to completely change its strategy during the course of the game, putting the all blacks in huge difficulty to adapt their game.

    When tackled the tackling team has to oush everyone out of the way to grab the ball from the downed player. They cannot go around or its a penalty.
    Defenders will push back while a man gets the ball and sends it off to the others to continue play

    France rocks!

  • @Eurynomos326
    @Eurynomos326 Před 2 lety

    7:00 ish, you're talking about if the defenders can just pick up the ball.
    Honestly lots of Rugby fans don't really understand the ruck, but the answer is the ruck.
    When you tackle someone a ruck forms. You've gotta push in to it from behind the tackled player while supporting your own body weight.
    The idea is to 'clear out' the other team by pushing them up and off the ruck so your team mates behind you can recover the ball, but you don't get to just pick it straight up yourself once you engage in the ruck.
    I think. Someone else probably knows better.
    Plus it obvi gets real messy, and different refs will run the game in different ways.
    edit:
    Forgot, a lot of it is about releasing the ball too.
    The attacking player who got tackled has to release the ball, that's where you see them reach back to place it towards their team.
    Basically, great rucking players make it very difficult to maintain possession when you get tackled.
    Either by winning a penalty, stealing the ball or just slowing you down.
    Look for the 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8s mostly for it.

      I played loose head prop, I didn't wear a "scrum cap", some other props wear them specifically to annoy the opposition props, the caps are made of tough material and its quite abrasive against bare skin, so when you are fighting for position before the scrum is engaged your rubbing temples against eachother trying to push the opposition in or out that inch or so to put them off.
      It should help with cauliflower ears but I never had that problem, the back of my ear would actually tear during games, not a big deal you'd only notice it when you got shampoo in the cut in the showers.

Found American football was too many stops which dragged on. The Haka is the Ultimate respect a warrior can give another warrior at the moment before the conflict begins. It comes under the belief of the Maori God of War (Tu matauenga). It could be seen as disrespectful if you don't take it seriously and laugh while performing it. 10:27 NZ are a good team yes and they dominate bad teams like the USA but they do not smash many of the other teams in the top 8, they have a history of losing to France alot and it's not like NZ is some god team they lost to Argentina in 2020. NZ also lost to Ireland the week before. Its a massive victory for France but as you may figure out, NZ contuary to beleife do not usually smash many of the other top 7 teams E.G. SA, ENG, IRE, FRA, AUS. Long story short, they usually lose multipul times a year. Would recomend watching IRE vs NZ that took place couple of weeks ago or game two of AUS vs SA that took place this year.

    You could play rugby guys😂They're are gentlemen....There are less injuries in rugby than in NFL😂I don't understand why you wanted New Zeland will win, instead France😂We are allies since 300 years! You have nothing in common with New-Zeland, except the language.....France is the black beast, of the All Blacks😂They're the best, but we beat them all the time.....Watch the rugby world cup in September, it's in France, and Frqnce is the best team since the past 2 years.....We lost 2 world cup finals, against Australia, and New Zeland....Hope we will win this year....Peace from France guys ✌️
