I filmed this SO long ago! I was saving it because I was thinking of doing an exploration into them but that works best for groups that have been debuted for at least a few years. But! I do want to react to more of them so let me know what I should watch next!
Loved this reaction to Loona, it seemed genuine. Contentwise, if you wanted to do an exploration of loona, you should be ok, they have a decent amount of discography released bc although they didn't debut until 2018, they have music dating back to 2016. They had a really extensive predebut campaign and an elaborate storyline woven into all of their mvs.
If you do decide to react, start with all their mvs in order of release.

I'm a Seventeen stan, but the choreo of Butterfly is easily choreo of the year for me. If you check it out, i'd recommend the "1theK dance cover contest" video of their choreo as opposed to the actual dance practice. It's basically the same thing but with a different background and outfits and it's more "hypnotizing" :p
seconded! i'm a carat and an orbit, and butterfly is definitely my favorite choreo of the year. and yeah, the 1thek video is amazing because they're wearing their stage outfits, i recommend reacting to that too.

Honestly, you’d be fine with an exploration because they have plenty of content! Each girl has a solo mv (some have acoustic/alternate mvs as well), they have subunit songs, and of course the few OT12 tracks. And that’s just what they have actual music videos for, B-sides not included. 😂
There’s also a lot of complex lore/backstory stuff for their characters...no shortage of content for new listeners, haha. Also, there are twelve girls! Haseul wasn’t in Cherry Bomb so you only would’ve counted eleven in that. Thank you for this! 🧡

If you wanna hear more of their songs, they all have solo releases. Haha. They're a group that started promoting, I believe, sometime in december 2016 and they officially debuted last year in August. Their korean name translates to girl of the month, so they introduced a new member every month. There are 12 members in the group. Although one of them couldn't participate in the cherry bomb video due to a personal tragedy in their family.

Before their debut in august 2018 they had a 2 year predebut group where each member had a solo and there were 3 sub units. They have a very diverse discography and have covered lots of genres and concepts in their music/mvs (they actually brought a genre to kpop with a song).
Omg yay loona (btw I changed my name but that was my rec) a little intro is that they are a 12 member girl group from Blockberry creative and they had a dope predebut project where every month they would debut a girl (Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, Vivi, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Gowon, Olivia Hye) with her own solo, color, animal and some have locations, fruits, or superpowers then sub units (1/3, odd eye circle, and yyxy) and finally the full group and as of now they have 2 ep's

Omg I'm so happy you came around LOONA!!! They're my favourite group!!! Actually, they debuted as a whole group last summer (August) but they had a 1.5 year predebut project (from October 2016 to May 2018) where their company released a new girl almost every month (saying almost because they also released 3 subunits and they had a few months for promotions) each with her own solo and mv. So they have a pretty big discography already with MANY different sounds!
As I see you noticed already, they're a very unique group. They have very deep storyline, that continues in every mv (solo mvs, subunit mvs and now on their mvs as LOONA), each subunit lives in a different world in the LOONAverse, and thus have different concepts and music genres from each other, but they're all connected. The first subunit (LOONA 1/3) has a more innocent/everyday girls concept, since the girls live in the "normal" world, and their songs vary from Jazz, balads, classical, rock~ to 80s-90s pop and R&B. The second one (LOONA OEC) has a more electronic and even more R&B sound, with their concept being more edgy, powerful, and upbeat from the "upside down"/second world of their universe. And the last subunit (LOONA YYXY) in my opinion, is the more alternative sounding one, with a concept which is hard to describe without giving anything of the story away.
So if you're interested to check them out I would suggest you watching each girl's solo and the subunit's title tracks in order of their release (there's a playlist in their channel) so you don't get confused. But if you're interested only in the music you can watch in any order you want. And also I would highly recommend you checking out their albums as well, they honestly have 0 bad songs, and I ecpecially think you'll like LOONA's OEC album "Max & Match" And their latest album as LOONA: "X X". And finally, if you want to watch more of their amazing dances, they have choreography videos for almost all their songs but the best are: "Colors", "Satellite" and "Butterfly"!

You definitely won’t be disappointed if you get into all the rest of their music! I just discovered them a couple of weeks ago and they have become my favorite rookie group! Some of my favorite songs by them are: favOriTe, 열기, Perfect Love *it has an 90’s rnb sound to it *, Stylish, See Saw, Where you at, and Heart Attack. Great video!

Loonas discography is very unique.Each subunit has different concepts so they are not afraid to try different things PLEASE watch the girls individual solos to get an idea for this
Yeah plz react to LOONA's other solos and mvs, u will love this group cause the complexity of this group is terrifying, they have their own universe called LOONAVERSE and their every MV is somehow connected to it. You may think this group is like every other cutesy group but they have another dark side on the other side of the Mobius strip.
After BTS this is the 2nd group I came around with that much indepth concept and feel.

LOONA is one of the best rookie in every terms... i know that sounds over"everything" but i actually mean it. thier concept (cute but also kinda crush), the story behind the loonaverse, the messages (like feminismes for exemple), the choreographies and of course the talent (you should watch thier loona studio). and personnally : heejin one of the best center ever.

Like a lot has been recommending, I'd suggest Butterfly's dance practice to really see the extend of the choreo's beauty. (Butterfly and Thanks are by far the most graceful ones I've seen so far, and Loona actually hinted on the type of choreo Butterfly would be by covering Thanks before the actual comeback). There are also two other dance practices that has been filmed the same day as Butterfly's which are Satellite and Colors.
They actually have a long discography since they've been going at it for 2 years during predebut. We don't have to see your reactions but we'd be please to know you'd checked it out :) There are a lot, but I'm pretty sure they have a playlist of their MVs in their official channel.
Finally, I'd recommend you to wait for their upcoming comeback B#RN. There is a great chance that it may have a similar vibe to Fire and Cherry Bomb (adding Not Today to the list)

There is actually quite a lot to react to in regards to LOONA. Each member has solo videos, plus others worth reacting to. All of them are so great and unique that it makes every video worth reacting to honestly. My personal favorites are Heart Attack, Eclipse, and Singing in the Rain.

Keep watching Loona, they're truly stand outs in kpop and music in general. They're breaking past just kpop with their theories and concepts.
Loona really is a unique group. Their predebut discography is insane and they have super interesting lore where the girls are in a different universe (the loonaverse, I highly recommend checking out the theories on it). Overall Loona is really amazing, but sadly their not as popular in Korea as they are in the US. So if your really impressed by them STAN LOONA.
12 members. although loona has only debuted a year ago they have more content than most groups. each girl was part of a predebut project. they each have their own solo song and video and they were put into subunits, which also have songs and music videos. loona has 3 more dance practices for their own songs, butterfly, colors, satellite. as well as a choreography version of hi high which is a bit more on the bubblegum side.
yup the high notes fly like a butterly were recorded live by one of the members, Chuu. In one of the sorta breaking down video by one of butterflys producers they stated Chuu the ones who did the notes and she definitely capable of those as shes seen multiple times hitting notes in their live streaming videos

There's a lot of Loona content, as some have said already each girl has a solo MV and not one of them sounds like the other so I believe there's something for everybody in Loona's discography, also all the MVs together (invluding sub units) are part of a bigger story that is continuous throughout their releases, there are plenty of theories going around and the world they created with their MVs is called the Loonaverse.

Loona as a group are on of (if not the most) diverse groups out there. They have so many genres under their belt and each girl had a completely different solo from the other. From ballads, candy pop, 90’s throw backs, jazz pop, R&B, edm, electronic, soultronica, tropical, trap and whatever the fuck Love Cherry motion is. Their discography is endless and that was only a small fraction of the genres they’ve tried.
The one who does the high note in the chorus is Chuu, she has amazing range. All the members have their own solo songs, I'd suggest you check out their solo songs:

Loona is a 12 member girlgroup formed by Blockberry Creative. They unveiled the girls one at a time and as sub units. This gives them their Korean name idalui sonyeo(meaning "the girls of the month" as they were released one by one)they have songs of a lot of different genres. Their music videos have very deep theories. The girls all have their own representative animals and colors some even have fruits.The first girl to start Loona's 9 billion dollar debut project was Jeon Heejin. Her solo song is called Vivid which is funky af. Her animal is a rabbit and her color is bright pink. The second girl is Kim Hyunjin and her solo song is called Around you. Her animal is the cat and her color is yellow.This song is a very underrated soft bop. The third girl is called Jo Haseul who is the leader of the group. Her animal is a white bird. Her song is let me in and her color is green. The fourth girl is the maknae Im Yeojin... Her solo song is called Kiss later which is a very adorable and precious upbeat song(sadly it is a bubble gum pop song which you said you don't like) . Her animal is the frog and her color is orange. The fifth girl is called Vivi and she is the only foreign member in Loona. She is from Hong Kong. She looks like the youngest but is actually the oldest. Her solo song is called every day I like you and her animal is the deer. Her color is pastel rose. This is where the first sub unit forms. It consists of Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Vivi. Yeojin is also originally supposed to be in this sub unit but she isn't joining right now because of bad grades at school... 😂😂 anyway the subunit is called 1/3 and their debut song is love and live, they also have a love and evil, and another song called sonatine. The sixth girl is Kim Lip. Her solo song is called Eclipse. Which I think would be closer to your taste in music. Her animal is the owl and her color is red. The seventh girl is Jung Jinsoul. Her solo song is called singing in the rain and is a total bop! Her animal is the Blue Betta (iss a fish) and her color is blue. The eighth girl is Choerry and her solo song is called Love Cherry Motion. It's a mood! Check it out! And her animal is the fruit bat and her fruit is the cherry (obviously). Her color is purple. Her animal is the penguin and her fruit is the strawberry. Her color is peach. The eleventh girl is called Gowon and her solo song is called one and only. Her animal is the butterfly and her fruit is the pineapple. Her color is Eden green.The twelfth and last girl is Olivia Hye, her solo song is called Egoist. Her animal is the wolf and her fruit is the blood plum. Her color is silver. And now the last sub unit forms! It is called YYXY and consist of Yves, Chuu, Gowon and Olivia. Their song is called love4eva. Before their official debut as OT12 the girls released a song called favorite. And their official debut song is hi high.
