To name a few, she is the founder of LiveLoveLaugh Foundation, in 2010 she adopted Ambegaon village as a part of Greenathon event for electrification, became ambassador of Indian Psychiatry society, investor in some startups related to electric vehicles (I don't remember exactly) and yeah, partnered with FB in creating space and awareness for those who commit suicide out of depression.
Basically, quite a true humanitarian and henceforth was awarded by World Economic Forum in 2020 with Crystal Award for her leadership.
I personally look upto 2 in the industry for their work which though people will never remember and neither are they going to ever showcase it as if "Dekho, maine yeh yeh kiya hai" and still have the audacity to hear the bashings by the chhapri haters.... one is Deepu, another is Shah Rukh.
He is toh on another league of doing whatever he can to aid the people, from Meer foundation for acid victims, opened cancer wards for children in Nanavati, works with Make a Wish Foundation Indian branch, Kerala, Chennaidonatio, Uttarakhand floods donations, adopted 12 villages of Odisha in the same Greenathlon event, submitted his entire office to BMC during covid for quarantine facilities, 2014 he donated around 25 cr for Rural development to the national fund, and obviously one of the biggest voclists for women development and equality and hence, was awarded with Unesco 2011 Corni Award, 2018 Crystal Award, 2 of his 4 international doctorates are not for his contribution to films rather for supporting children and women empowerment and development.
Basically, such long paras I wrote just to justify that these things are never gonna reach to people's ear as loudspeakers, because we are taught by our media and politicians (not all but some) that he is a Pakistani Agent, Pakistan bhejo bhadwe ko... And Deepika is referred as Nashedi Tukde Gang waali.... Inn chu*** ne desh ko sirf becha hai, diya kuch nahi.
But yet after this, they stay silent coz they know that the love and the good wishes and prayers, they are bestowed with weighs extremely more than these hatred filled comments.

Piku is one of her finest performance according to me, her presence was magnetic in the film and every line she delivered was so raw and heartfelt,she also stood out even between the presence of cinema's most talented actors (Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan) , with a great story that will not disappoint you even for a single second, Piku is MASTERPIECE that you should watch for sure if you haven't, Deepika Padukone is a remarkable actress whose contributions to cinema are PURE GOLD.
