She has my respect for starting from scratch and getting recognized for her talent and not feel ashamed to speak in her mother tongue at an international event !
Although you are right but I cannot agree with you on the language issue, because the entire world does not understand her language and to get more audience she needs to speak in a common language
Well talking in english must be a choice rather than Compulsion and If she is comfortable it is hindi that shouldn't be criticized...
Alot of celebs from other countries also talk in their mother tongue also people hire translators for them.... It's Just new to see an Indian celeb talking in hindi on an international platform

@@_aididactually no,Japanese,koraen,Chinese,French people speak in their language only,and world read the subtitles,but we as Indians have inferiority complex,that we must speak in English which mere just a language to some,and most of the aundiance interested watching her is Indian who can understand her,so language doesn’t matte
Agar itna hi English English karte rahe sab toh ek din humari mother tongue hi dead ho jayegi,jo already start ho chuka hai ,because some people have superiority complex because they speak English and shame others who don’t speak that language
Ok i was shocked to hear hindi at International platform like Cannes!! I double checked if its Cannes. Nancy came off as genuine, raw & actually truly happy to be there. No show off ,just pure joy.
So what's wrong with saying Hindi? Spanish people use Spanish.

It's really satisfying to see that the reporter was asking her in english and she replied confidently in Hindi.... it just revised the several instances when some some non-speaking europeans replied in their native language instead of english,....But for the first time i am seeing this for Hindi as well. I really appreciate your choice.

I am so happy for her.
