Nice one , was dreading putting this in , but looks a lot easier !👍🏾
Brilliant, thanks very much for the very clear explanation. Who would've thought that you connect a positive to a negative. Worked an absolute treat. Thank you. :)
Glad it helped 👍👍👍
Cheers Tommy. I just needed this info. Top man.
Just a correction. The tap doesn’t have positive and negative. It’s a simple switch which allows the current to flow or not, so inverting the tap wires doesn’t make any difference. 👍
Thanks my friend, you are a lifesaver, happy new year.
Glad it helped, Happy New year mate 👍
very helpful and very easy to follow, well done mate

Hi, thanks for the video. Was that 1 5amp fuse for the pump ?
Hi Tommy, I've got a 12v leisure battery but no inverter to keep things simple. I do have a consumer unit, purely for AC power. Can I run my cable from my fuse block to the pump? I ran a spare cable to my kitchen unit so there is one sitting there ready.
👍
Hi, both my tap and my pump and an earth wire. Do they need to be wired any different? Or can the earth wires all just be put together and screwed to the van?
Does this system require equipments like the expansion valve or water filters?
Hiya mate does the tap and pump use the same 5amp fuse together cause my fuse keeps breaking
Hello I've just tried to wire mine up and the pub is just running all the time any suggestions please? Turned the tap back and forth nothings stopping it
Wicked x
Hiya mate just went out and done exactly what you said and it worked without popping a fuse cheers
I have done the same as you did but it keeps tripping the breaker, have you got any idea why that would happen?
How did you get from the 12mm pump inlet to 15mm tap?
Hi I just done exactly as explained but nothing happens when the tap is opened. The switch in the tap clicks but it does not activate the tap? Can you help please
My pump came with a cable that goes to the generator but no plug on it. What sort of plug should I use?
Hey. Thanks for this video. Have wired up in the same way as you and pump isn't working. Could this be to do with the vollt drop? When measuring on the multimeter its coming out at 10.5 volts at the pump... we are using 1.5mm speaker cable and the sink is just behind the drivers seat and battery under passengers, so under 1.5m. Thanks!
No noise at all from the pump ?
Thank you for your video! I just install my tap and connect my water pump to a switch and to my fuse board! But I have a problem, the switch turns on and off and then it doesn’t turn on again! I don’t know why, can anyone help me please?
Hi ther
I am following all the steps, but when when I plug it in , the switch trips
Could you help me out please
Hi Tommy, can you help, I have a VW Campervan which has a similar pump to your very informative you tube video, the issue is I have is my current tap is not working, I have checked the pump which seems to work immersed into my water bottle but no water is coming through the tube to the tap. Someone has said the pump even though is making a noise may be faulty. Any ideas please?
The voltage seems kind of low, try it once fully charged. Check all pipework for kinks or sharp bends etc. Check tap itself isn't blocked.
After that I'd return if you have recently had it from new .👍👍👍
Thnx for the great video, what are the dimensions of the kitchen board?
Thanks 😬👍👍👍
I'm on to my next van now but I've got these measurements from an advert of the same unit
86 x 40 x 76cm W x D x H
Just wondering if anyone could help, just installed this exact pump and tap in my van and the pump is permanently on when I make it live. The tap is controlling the flow and stopping the flow but not switching off the pump. My wiring is correct, I think, but I can’t figure out what the problem is. Has anyone else had this? If so please help me out, can’t find any examples of this on line for these whale pump and taps
Help me out mate I Got the same tap and pump would it work running of a motorbike battery?
Personally I've never done it so not sure.
I'd imagine if it's a 12v battery it would work, depends on the ah of the battery on how long it would last etc.👍
Oh hun🥰🤣
