Very, just purchased m1 with pocket radio, just turned it on crashed three times, ordered rotor blades this time thought I bind the two together flew it the second time seems like it had a mind of its own😢, damaged frame rails, feathering shaft rotor blades good, flying drone not like a heli.
Appreciate tinkering on these heli, doing good...thank you sir

Jeff, just found this video. I fly my M2 like I stole it. Throw it around, fast flight, big loops, rolls, flips, etc. But I do have a question, why do you slow down your agility? What is that really doing? I'm lost when it comes to all these adjustments. Trying to learn man! Thanks for all your videos.

I have an M1 as well. Both are the newer EVO models. I don't fly my M1 as hard cause it's harder to see. I may actually work to slow it down some for lazy back yard flying.

Wouldn't the rate/speed dictate agility? what is agility adjusting?

Jeff, just bought an OMP M1. I watched the video a few times but wanted to make sure I have it right. For M1, change gyro for elevator and aliron to 3, change agility for boyj(?) elevator and alieron to 1? Thanks

Hello! Yes, change Elevator and aileron gain to 3. I like 1 for Agility but that’s a user preference thing. Start at 5 and lower it till your liking.

Nice man 👍🏾 I’m actually considering on getting the OMP M1, you know something I can fly indoors without going to the field. I just got the align kit halfway done, the only issues I might have when I’m is trying to find the max RPM numbers to safely set my esc Govern-a, i will be using 60amp castle or hobbywing

Every one should have a M1 and M2! Both are incredible helis! Awesome man! It’s looking good! If your setting up govern with castle you have to put in your gear ratio and head speed you want and it tell you what percentages you put in your radio.

Good video, but about neutral setting - how to sets the neutral position? it is same like other - by elevator on transmitter? I dont understand, how to sets the neutral for starts - to heli go up only by throttle like on simulator - my heli goes to front and fall after start, so I thing the neutrals for elevator and aileon are set bad.

Great video, how do I turn the pitch down to make it less sensitive?
    Thank you in advance!!

Thank you! You would go into the FBL and go to pitch and adjust to your liking. Are you trying to slow down the rotation rate, or the overall cyclic pitch?

Just want it to be less sensitive, it seems to go up and down as a beginner it’s super sensitive, please advise.
      Thank you

Do these settings adjust the rescue/stability option. It feels very sluggish

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  Před 3 lety +1

No they do not adjust the rescue/stability option. Rescue adjustment is done in the TX meaning how fast it flips over and so on. Feeling sluggish as in while you were in rescue or just normal flying? Try speeding up the servos and turning down the agility

    • @TheDesertraptor

@@westhobbiesrc8051 in rescue/stability mode it takes a lot of stick to move. DR/throws are all at 100%
I guess it's changed in the fbl system

@@jakelang4387 negative expo will only take the stick dead band out. That’s not going to make the servo speed any faster. It’s super easy to speed the servos up. 5 blinks is stock and mine are set to 9 blinks

I like my helis very fast and can’t stand expo or dead band so I try and get it all out. I would go up 1 blink at a time till you find your liking.
