- This is a quick tutorial on using the break apart tool with lettering. LInes and words can be split down to the individual letter while maintaining the lettering properties.

Hi Shelly, this is great. I really got it. And you didn’t go too fast like some people. Clear and concise. Can you tell me how you typed in your lettering to begin with, and could you type as a sentence using V8? I am going to write this down in my V8 instruction folder.
Right-click on lettering in the digitize toolbox which will open the lettering object properties box. Type in whatever you want, make any changes you want to font selection, size, etc., click ok at the bottom of the object properties box and then click on the screen to place the words on the screen.
