Oredered these yesterday. Living close to an Amazon hub the Prime van had them to me 4 hours later. Before purchase i had concerns of the build quality..its not an issue. Plugged them into the wall for an hour n half til full charge. After an easy Bluetooth hookup i went straight to CZcams to try some different genres real quick. Sound was really good right out of the gate. A little bassy but overall VERY good. I downloaded the app and after lots of adjustments i found MY sound. They fit my head pretty good but after about 4 hours of straight listening my ears were feeling a little sore..i have a big head/ears. El Jeffe had a spot on review in my opinion. Noise cancelling is very good and even improved the over all sound for me. Just remember, these cans aren't $200 to $350, for $80 these are great with great features. Something that not enough people mention with noise cancelling headphones is how most ANC amplify wind noise whenever you're outside. The "outdoor" mode on the Q30 reduces wind noise, and it works really well. Wind was a constant problem with my Skullcandy Venue ANC so having this option is awesome
Just wanna tell everyone they have fixed the mic quality in their updates and it has improved significantly! So clear now ! Also they have better NC due to updates !
When it comes to headphones, you are my go to guy. These definitely sound like a great bang for your buck proposition. The call quality is a little sus, but like you said, I'm sure that can be fixed. Great review as always, and 100% real 👍🏻
How would you compare this to the EDIFIER W820NB or the W860NB ?? Really searching for the best between these two. Doesnt matter the price just who is the best between all these 3 headphones ?
I just recently compared them to my pricey Bose QC 35 II headphones and the Soundcore actually sounded better after a little adjustment on the equalizer. Unbelievable sound quality for the price and they are outperforming the $300 Bose and Sony. They are really doing something right with these Anker Soundcore devices, I also have the Sound core motion + and that bluetooth speaker is amazing too.
Anker Q30 are top for me! I also have a JBL 750BTNC and a JBL Everlest 750NC, but the Q30 has identical sound and something extra - an application, a case, an incredible battery, USB-C, BT 5.0 and a beautiful design. Firmware 1.9 has already solved the microphone problem. Bought at Aliexpress for € 58 - EU warehouse :) Thanks to Jeff for the great reviews!
Every product should be both good price/quality in its functionality and well designed estheticaly. Especially when you go outdoors in public and travelling and appreciate a good style, it shouldn't make you look weird (unless you want that). Good industrial design by large companies doesn't have to be expensive. It just takes a good industrial designer and engineer to strive for that result.
I hear you and I know exactly where you are coming from. I personally don't care about aesthetics very much since I can't see them while wearing them. I care little about the opinions of strangers while out in public so it's not really a problem for me. I know I'm in the minority with this mindset but I wanted to share my perspective with you.

Just bought these for £50 brand new from the Amazon Day sale. Mate the transparency mode is insane! It’s like it amplifies the noise. Noise cancellation is pretty decent too! I’m only using them for the airplane and the practice keys 🎹 but I’m impressed.

Soundcore never disappoint...!! I am so fricking amazing satisfied & happy with my Life Q10s and Liberty 2 Pros and their sound profile is absolutely in my liking.. I have the Q30 and regarding the bass drop when enabling ANC, you are not alone. I think that happens with all Q30 and the drop is not that disturbing or degrading the music appreciation. In my case it doesn't really bother me since I'm always in ANC and I disable it rarely when I use the transparency mode to talk to someone (so no music and no bass issue :P) or when I need to be aware of the surrounding which is a short span of time before going back to ANC. But I totally agree with you and I think this could be fixed by a software update...So finger crossed Anker will listen to your advices. Overall this is an amazing headphone. I watch movies and play FPS via Bluetooth and I personally didn't notice any discomfort or latency for playing. You covered pretty much all aspects of the headphone here. Great job. I personally would recommend this headphone without any problem especially with that price, quality and features it's just unbeatable IMO.
Thanks for the info man you assured me that I wont regret buying them. Sound over looks but I think if you can combine both its better, that way your headphones can give a fresh touch to your look, besides entertainment.

Anyhow, I have bought the soundcore space NC after watching your review and since 2018. Now they started to break out and they fell couple of times. Theyve been perfect. My question is: Can these be the optimal replacement? Should I get the Q3 ? I don’t want to downgrade from the space nc. I completely trust ur opinion. And one more thing did the updates improved the call quality to match the Space Nc’s ? Hopefully u can get to me soon so I can order theses. ❤️

Been really enjoying my q30s, now that you mention it, there is a slight decrease in bass when using noise cancelling. However the rest of the eq seems the same which is a good thing
Just received my Q30's . Thank you Amazon. Initial sound check not impressive. Knew about the Anker app off Google. Got to the equalizer quickly, boosted bottom base and vocals and the sound came alive. Much better. Build quality not premium, but still OK.

Another solid review from my boy El Jefe.. the call Quality could have been better. (Especially since the LA 2S call Quality was so awesome.) Could easily be fixed with firmware update. These headphones look awesome, and have a nice case to boot. Nice job sir.
Very welcome. Please keep in mind that this review was from November 2020. There have been multiple firmware updates since this video and call quality has significantly improved.
I think the Dyplay Urban Traveller 2 has better ANC than the Q30, it really crushes the lower and mid frequencies. However, its sound is really bright with ANC turned on and you only get 12 hours of battery life with ANC on. I agree Piano settings is amazing! It seems more in line with the Harman target than the others. My main gripe is the plastic hinges are rather clicky/creaky.
@@ELJefeReviews yeah I can definitely see that, I'm used to a brighter sound like the Audio-Technica MSR7. I was still pretty surprised how much stronger the ANC was compared to these in cutting out my space heater. The Q30s improve a bit with "indoor" setting though.

I'll mostly be using them at home, on my computer and on my Switch from time to time, all using Bluetooth. Do you think these could become too hot and uncomfortable during the Summer, due to the material and how the ear cups sit around your ears? Also, is the memory foam made out of that leather-like material that starts to break and peel off after a few months?
Checking these out again. Has a firmware update fixed the EQ/ANC imbalance issue? The reason I'm taking a look is because of the multipoint connection functionality.

Souncore Q30 - Daily Driver - Best Bang for the Buck. They almost sound like the Momentum 3 Wireless I sold cause of their metallic band messing my hair when Im laying down, of course after tuning the EQ which is way more versatile than Sennheiser's (There's a great video of someone's audiophile-settings on youtube where he shares the screenshots look it up) And to think I believed I'd never overcome Bluedio saga. (Liked my T3's for Bass Boosted session and their volume, Piano EQ on the Q30's app does just that!) Thanks El-Jefe for this review, that's absolutely the best purchase I've made this year - and saved me some coins for my lockdowns-wine over the Xm4's.
Watched from start till end. As always, incredible review!! 🔥 I think it's a really bang for the buck pair of headphones. Most aspects about it are amazing, except for the microphone quality tbh. That's the major gripe to me because I frequently call using my headphones. Otherwise, it's overall great.

i do love (not counting the shallow earcup thing) that one of the only big cons you had with them sound like something that a firmware update can fix or address vs having to wait for say the Q40's whenever Soundcore releases them in say 2 years or something
Good build quality. Most headbands hurts the top of my head after 30 minutes, not them. After 90 minutes, still no discomfort. They are also stable on the head, wont fall if you tilt your head up or down. A bit boomy for movies on default EQ. Easy n fast to adjust. Got them october 2021 at $85 CDN. You can do gaming with those, on non competitive levels.

What's your choice of sound quality: Q30 or Space NC?
How is this even a question? The Space NC are from 2017 and are outdated.The Q30 have the latest tech and are superior in literally every way.

Those are not better. The Q30 beats them both. Only the QC35ii has superior ANC.

Is this Soundcore Life Q30 worth buying in 2024? I have heard about 1More Sonoflow recently too, between the too which one should i go for in 2024 as both are mostly same price in my Region
I also heard the Life Q30 headband breaks easily & earcup foams too from so many users, is it worth buying considering these flaws?

Been really enjoying my q30s, now that you mention it, there is a slight decrease in bass when using noise cancelling. However the rest of the eq seems the same which is a good thing

Just received my Q30's . Thank you Amazon. Initial sound check not impressive. Knew about the Anker app off Google. Got to the equalizer quickly, boosted bottom base and vocals and the sound came alive. Much better. Build quality not premium, but still OK.

Another solid review from my boy El Jefe.. the call Quality could have been better. (Especially since the LA 2S call Quality was so awesome.) Could easily be fixed with firmware update. These headphones look awesome, and have a nice case to boot. Nice job sir.

I think the Dyplay Urban Traveller 2 has better ANC than the Q30, it really crushes the lower and mid frequencies. However, its sound is really bright with ANC turned on and you only get 12 hours of battery life with ANC on. I agree Piano settings is amazing! It seems more in line with the Harman target than the others. My main gripe is the plastic hinges are rather clicky/creaky.
I didn't like the Dyplay at all. Mine had terrible EQ shift with ANC on. I sent them back.
@@ELJefeReviews yeah I can definitely see that, I'm used to a brighter sound like the Audio-Technica MSR7. I was still pretty surprised how much stronger the ANC was compared to these in cutting out my space heater. The Q30s improve a bit with "indoor" setting though.

I'm on the verge of buying a pair of these for myself. I'll mostly be using them at home, on my computer and on my Switch from time to time, all using Bluetooth. Do you think these could become too hot and uncomfortable during the Summer, due to the material and how the ear cups sit around your ears?
Also, is the memory foam made out of that leather-like material that starts to break and peel off after a few months?

Checking these out again. Has a firmware update fixed the EQ/ANC imbalance issue? The reason I'm taking a look is because of the multipoint connection functionality.

Souncore Q30 - Daily Driver - Best Bang for the Buck. They almost sound like the Momentum 3 Wireless I sold cause of their metallic band messing my hair when Im laying down, of course after tuning the EQ which is way more versatile than Sennheiser's (There's a great video of someone's audiophile-settings on youtube where he shares the screenshots look it up)
And to think I believed I'd never overcome Bluedio saga. (Liked my T3's for Bass Boosted session and their volume, Piano EQ on the Q30's app does just that!)

I think it's a really bang for the buck pair of headphones.
Most aspects about it are amazing, except for the microphone quality tbh. That's the major gripe to me because I frequently call using my headphones. Otherwise, it's overall great.

If you compare these with Q10 and Q20 in terms of sound quality, are there any huge difference?
Yes. The difference in all aspects of performance are easily noticeable.
i do love (not counting the shallow earcup thing) that one of the only big cons you had with them sound like something that a firmware update can fix or address vs having to wait for say the Q40's whenever Soundcore releases them in say 2 years or something
I agree. Assuming Soundcore listens to me and fixes the issue.
Good build quality. Most headbands hurts the top of my head after 30 minutes, not them. After 90 minutes, still no discomfort. They are also stable on the head, wont fall if you tilt your head up or down. A bit boomy for movies on default EQ. Easy n fast to adjust. Got them october 2021 at $85 CDN. You can do gaming with those, on non competitive levels.

El Jefe... great vid.. thank you man!! 1 question as I've had quite a few over ear headphones what headphones wpuld you say are louder than these? I feel these for over ears are loudest ive heard?!? Also is it normal for the headphones to make a popping sound if volume is too hugh and anc is on??? That's my only gripe is that sound whuch I emailed soundcore about but that was just yesterday.. have had em for 3 weeks and to me they r to over ears what the 2 pros were and still are to earbuds ... the loudest and best!!! These are indeed loud. Popping at high volume can be driver flex. Wait and see what Soundcore says.
