i checked out the website and it turns out that thats not exactly how they do it. while its probably true that they collect data, you can preview the ingredients of the perfume that it will make on the site and they do kinda match the answers i gave

Making scent profile is different but actual blend depends on human touch and quality oils. The bot can make the perfume you are imagining but how good will be it's projection and longevity that is subjective.

If it uses the quiz to chose a perfume, it still does not use AI it would just be a normal computer.
A little concern I see with this:
I believe they request too much information from the user for just something like a perfume. That's a huge disaster waiting to happen. Even IF they're not gonna do anything malicious with said information, threat actors will find a way to steal said info and use it against you or sell it on the dark web. Quite a possible security and privacy risk for the the 'perfect' perfume.

i was expecting something that can use your natural scent and create a perfume to compound and work with that in a way you choose or smth, not that people have very strong smells usually
As someone sensitive skin p perfumes and scents in general, with autism, and particular hates anything that isn't like more natural essential oil stuff, I wonder what would happen if I tried this. Right now the only perfume I an handle is the white musk perfume from Saudi Arabia which is more natural and very nicely refreshing, truely reminds me of essential oils, and it's small and roll on so travel friendly.

there's something call the aroma labs and you pick your own aromas aka scents and test them on a little piece of paper and then take the scents you want to combine to the counter and they put it in a bottle

It is, but barely really. It's a set questionnaire and a set amount of scents to mix. But slap 'AI' on anything these days and people throw investment money at it as well as customers throwing their own money and journalists and youtubers will rush to cover it.
