      Is Blender worth it if you want a job in the industry or is it just for individuals who freelance??

    • @AaronPalmer
      @AaronPalmer Před 2 lety

      @@kangtheconqueror8359 simply put it this way. Maya is currently industry standard for jobs such as a Game artist and blender is currently more used in the Freelance community. However blender is on a fast track to becoming the industry standard within I would say the next 5 years maybe even sooner, because of the sponsorships they have now and will be getting.

    "I don't want to turn this episode into an AI episode"
    You need to redo this podcast. And actually talk about the things that Ian excels at. Him dropping how to de-light 3D-scans with an HDRI was insane. But it was a shame that it was only real gem of information you managed to get out of him in the podcast.

    What would be nice is, instead of the Corridor logo in the top right, is a wide camera so we know where everyone is sat in relation to everyone else. When Wren and Sam look off to a certain direction is weird to figure out who they're facing and what they're looking at. If there was a wide shot, even a GoPro in the corner of the room, it would help orientate the viewer a bit.

    The real problem with the demoralizing nature of being immediately compared with everyone on the planet is that the initial drive to beat out the competition, no matter how fierce, often runs up against the very real barrier of wealth inequality. There are some creative comparative ventures that are completely distorted by people with a starting budget well outside of the average leading to a lot of young artists being turned off from continuing due to disillusionment at the reality of that insurmountable barrier. It's always been the case that that gap existed, but this is the first generation of artists where it is an inescapable truth.
