UMX Ultrix - so much fun with a chunk of foam!

- As simple as the UMX Ultrix is it flies so well!
I'm not saying it's a good first RC airplane but it is durable and it can do some pretty impressive things. All that from a chipmunk of foam, 2 small motors and 2 control surfaces.
I was even helping the farmers by scaring a flock of pigeons away from a field 😄

It's all over the place, fast, slow, also handles wind very well.

It's not exactly disposable but it does fly great. It's tough, that's for sure. Crashed it a bunch of times, only broke props.
@@A.M.-RC at some point all our toys are disposable 🤣. Epo makes a great difference in keeping them in the sky!
@@8poundquark true that! I can't remember the name of all the foams, but it's not like other UMX, it has the same foam bigger planes have. And with being so light it makes it really tough.

And yes, the jst can be tricky, I always make sure I match the color of the wires before plugging them in.
Exactly right…. Match the wires red to red! I just purchased the Umx A-10 & Twin Otter so will be interesting with a camera on them over the beach when we get back.watching the sunset here from our hotel balcony over the Andaman Sea
Ps i have the original Conscendo S power glider. Just great
@@Bellairvideo they are both great, A-10 will probably be my next video as I flew it also right after the Ultrix. The Twin Otter is so much fun on floats, the differential thrust works great!

Indeed, what I meant is mostly on floats, in the water or in snow ( I know probably snow will be hard for you to find 😄 ), but do try it on water if you have a chance.
