    This is confirmed in James Nestor’s book Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art. I have been practicing nose breathing for some time and can really see the difference while hiking or any form of exercise.

    I’ve been trying to remember to do this…. I’m also breathing in through my nose and breathing out my mouth half the counts that I breathed in I think this is helping my lungs.

      Equal or longer breathing out activates the parasympathetic system and will help lower BP

    It’s so hard cause I have asthma and sinus stuff, but I am working with mouth tape during the day too to try to get me mouth closed! The adjustable bed has made my sleep apnea 100 percent better and my nose is not as stuffy!!!! And mouth breathing is a bad habit due to some health challenges….there is hope!!! Thank you good doctor! ❤❤❤

      In through the nose and lift shoulders to inhale slowly expanding the rib cage to increase the lung capacity then out the mouth.

    Hi doc Everytime I watch your vlog I always have a peaceful mind after watching now I want to ask you something I'm 53 years old actually I have to concern right now one is heat problem recently I have diagnose a coronary heart disease it all started at ECG THE first one has an AV block the seconf a slight delay and the third is normal if you can explain I would be glad to hear it the second concern is ED it may sounds funny but it's true what vit should I take and what will be the effect of my present condition..I'm a very versatile person but when this diagnose came up I almost lost it bectmy doc told me to stop all my activities I swimm run play basketball I do work out lifting heavy things and now I have to stop all of it I was soo feel un useful and now this erectile disfunction I need you'd advise doc I watch most of your vlog but I need your own opinion..thank you and may God blessed you and more god health

    Hello, I was watching your video about how to raise blood pressure and you mentioned honey and pomegranate. There is so much other research that indicates honey and pomegranate actually lower blood pressure. Please look into that.
