May I add I have my truck on a long travel kit king shocks and 37" Toyos
Those 37”s hurting HP. But this cam will give you a good gain of power and torque.

Bro you should have 4.88 gears or 5.13's even 37's are ridiculously heavy for a 5.3. Would definitely be a whole different truck after 👍

I have a question I’ve got a 08 5.3 I’m getting this cam and a dod delete kit for my truck I have been told that there is something to do with the trans blowing up because of to much pressure is this something I will have to worry about if someone could get ahold of me or something that knows more that would be awesome
what all was installed in it and can it be installed with dod ? if not what do i have to install for it to run with dod

It’s clearly TSP’s answer to the truck Norris cam, so they will be comparable. Any margin of gain or loss from either would be negligible. Glad tsp did this tho for sure! They needed a cam to compete with the truck Norris! All around best NA cam for a 4.8 or 5.3 IMO

Just installed chopa on 5.3 2015 Silverado, keeps stalling, and hard to crank over after warm up, have to keep the gas pedal down in order to start. any suggestions to properly tune it?

Stock is fine for a daily driver, if you plan on going into the trans anyways do a stall. Have this cam in my 02 vette and it doesn't really come alive till around 2800-3k. Regret not doing a stall while trans was being rebuilt.

Hi. Can you guys help me in tunning my truck thru remote HP Tunner?
Did it have a stall added or heads? I had purchased a cammed and heads 07 4.8 but the owner never did the stall so it’s my next mod and posi rear end then I can get tuned cause it keeps stalling when in park and revved but won’t stall moving so I’m guessing it’s still a bad tune from Split
3600 stall is recommended, this cam can be ran with stock converters tho
It definitely needs a stall! FTI OR CIRCLE D is the way too go! 3200 -3600 I’d go

On non dod lifters, trucks equipped with AFM system (DoD) you have to swap them. AFM/DoD delete kit

@@jesusshinojosaa that year did not have dod so yes stock pushrods and lifters can be used. I’d swap some ls6 or ls2 valve springs in if you go with this cam.
