"Peculiar Outburst!" Green Councillor Shouts 'Allahu Akbar' During Election Victory Speech

- Independent adviser on antisemitism Lord Mann explains why he’s called the Green Party to a meeting, after councillor Mothin Ali shouted “Allahu Akbar” after his election in Leeds.
In his acceptance speech, recorded on his TikTok channel, Mr Ali stood in front of a Palestinian flag as he said: “This is a win for the people of Gaza.”
The video shows Green Party supporters arguing with their rivals and one of Mr Ali’s team shouting: “Palestine will be free.”
Mann says: “I want to know if he has a track record of saying anything that's a significant problem!"

In Australia a person cannot stand as an elected politician unless they have renounced dual citizenship. Of course people can do this and still not fulfil their responsibilities. Nevertheless they must obey the laws of Australia and defend Australia whenever called to do so, otherwise your acquired citizenship can be renounced and an individual could face deportation.
