Because people like watching garbage. And if the person isn’t screaming at them to SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON then it’s not worth watching. Unfortunately.

The first really controversial piece of art I heard of as a child was a crucifix submerged in urine in a clear box. I don't remember the artist.

Rejected Art rightly so. It is Sad, the direction art has taken in creating " Ready Made Trash"

I'm not sure that the rejected artists felt very grateful for the French emperor's possibly reluctant proposal for an alternative display for their rejected works , because after all the value of their spurned works increased ?
Well, if my motivation to participate in an exhibition were to incite social unrest which would help put me in jail , I would definitely hide my identity. Hehe😆
Very interesting video .. I did enjoy it. Thanks as usual.
    Have a nice weekend! 😊

Definitely rejecting those works in the long run gave them more hype and exposure. Thanks for watching and have a nice weekend too!

"The degenerate art" exhibition got that many people because they knew it could be the last time they'd see these pieces. TBH creating an exhibition for art you hate is a weird way to show your despise, but you do you Hitler.

In my opinion, Hitlers 1937 „Ausstellung entarteter Kunst“ doesn‘t fit into this video because it was only politically motivated. And this by someone (Hitler) who wanted to be an artist but totally lacked in the creativity department. I‘m sure he was very envious because the „deformed art“ was so full of ideas, s.th. his limited brain could never understand.

    • @CuriousMuse
