The most recent nerf blasters seem to be more gimmicky than anything else. Like those Z strike Blasters with the silly string, the fold up blaster, the Modulus, this, and so forth.
The Modulus's gimmick of having interchangeable parts is not new at all. Nerf Blasters have had that for quite some time now. It's just a new one that has more attachments.
yeah, you gotta think of your main audience, but they still have good guns, this gun is definitely useful

Hey coop, the hooks that you have on the bottom of the grip can be used to pull back the prime of the other half/pistol while dual wielding.
I just realized this is one of the best Nerf sidearms out there. First, when assembled, you have four easy shots at your disposal and can fire them individually a la Rough Cut, and second, you can also hold off multiple people by splitting them apart, or you can toss one half to a buddy when his blaster has a problem. However, if there are other better pistols out there than this fully assembled, then what can pull off multi-shot action like this can? In all honesty, the only blasters that could possibly compete with this in the sidearm class are the Triad, the Nitefinder/Firestrike, and the Strongarm. I could say multiple disc blasters, but those are 'discontinued'.

It's a jolt reskin but duct taped together.

I modified my Roughcut by banging it on my floor, and it shoots one at a time, or 2 separately with one pump. Really easy! :D

The splitstrike is similar to a buzz bee shotgun but without shells because you can shoot 2 at a time I dont know if that's what other people think but that's what I think of it

Really like the idea of this blaster
It's the worlds smallest nerf shotgun that gets elite performance:) that's why it's amazing

One thing about this after awhile of having this I experienced times where the darts won’t stay in the blasters.
At my nerf wars your only allowed one gun, so this begs the question is this considered one or two guns?

The Splitstrike to me is a combination of the Nerf Roughcut and the Firestrike. (2-dart shotgun+the tech used in the firestrike(lists firestrike tech on the box.))

I kinda of wish nerf made an upgrade to this idea by making each side have 6 capacity so you could run this in a nerf war as a primary blaster

if you didn't know, the hooks on the bottom of the handle can be used to pull back the priming mechanism to make repriming easier
My good use for this blaster is if you are a support class with a lot of ammo/pistols, because if you hold 3 Splitstrikes, you can split them and have 6 backup blasters.

if you have small hands, u can use the hooks on the bottom of the grips to hook onto the priming handle of the opposite gun. same workz for the strongarm if youre weilding 2 of them. the hook on the strongarm corresponds with the notch in the front of the grey priming handle. just wanted to point that out

Another idea I don't see anybody mentioning is if you have a friend that's out of ammo or unarmed, you can split this thing apart and throw them half of it so they're not helpless.

If you have the right leverage it's actually super easy to use only one rough cut shot at a time

If you borrow this blaster to one of your friends, remember to let them know how to assemble/disassemble it. Mine is permanently stuck together now because one of my friends assembled it incorrectly.

You know, some blasters, such as the Splitstrike and the Firestrike have hooks on the bottom of the handle so if you are wielding one in each hand (Ala two firestrikes or two halves of splitstrike), you can use that hook to loop into the priming handle of the other and prime both without loosening your grip to use your hands.
You mean the priming hook I'm guessing, just clarifying cause I just got an idea...
So its basicly a rough cut with half ammo with a feature most people wont find helpful if you were wondering
they are also struck in opposite molds so if you get two with opposing color patterns you can haeve one completely white one and one completely blue one

Just buy two Doublestrikes. You have to pull a bar back with these guns, when all you have to do with a Doublestrike is pull the hammer back
