Here's what I think. For a Stryfe, the 12 is my favorite. It's small enough to be quick, but big enough that you're not reloading a lot. When I can use my friend's Stampede, I use a 35. Go big or go home

Another thing to consider is that drum mags can act as somewhat of a shield.
Drum mags are also really good for fort wars. You can have a pile of like 10 of them ready to go!

Depends, I know in my airsoft field they count weapon hits as kills, so I imagine there's plenty of nerf groups that count weapon hits as well. So drums would just expand your hitbox

Yeah once I asked for a nerf gun and instead of a dart blaster like a retaliator, she got me an Apollo. I was 10. The most unwieldy priming mechanism ever. But now I have a pump action kit and it’s great

Another thing to consider, if you're playing in a place where you trust the people you're playing with and you can just drop mags when they're empty, might be more effective to start with a drum in the blaster and then carry stick mags in your gear.
Honestly, reloading is one of my favorite parts, couldn’t say why.

That 25 round drum is clutch. It holds a lot of darts yet it's small enough to carry 2 on your side while you have another in your blaster for a total of 75 darts. Add that with 2 extra 12 round mags on your other side for a grand total of 99 rounds without sacrificing movement of your body. That's my setup for my Icon Stampede. Absolute domination on the battlefield!

Coop really talks highly about the nemesis, I have a Nemesis (actually 2) and a Prometheus and the Prometheus is a lot better and could easily fit 250 balls inside and I even got ups to 302 balls to fit comfortably in that massive hopper.
My favourite is tapeing two 12-round mags, so the reload is super fast and you have 24 rounds at once

I just use 12 round sticks but that’s more tradition for me as my first automatic weapon blaster was the modulus regulator and that comes with them so I just kinda stuck. Also I then realised you can get like 10 from Amazon for £5 and they are ez to carry and have a decent size

I think the best mag would be the flip mag(not featured), this is because it is easy to reload and easy to carry. For the people who to move a lot and use lots of ammo, (Zombie modes. This is easily accessible and straight forward to use. The only thing that’s bad about this mag is that sometimes the darts fall out of the mag not being used. As long as the darts aren’t mushed it should work fine

I found that thesprings in the nerf 10 round banana mags are prone to jamming, forcing you to either take it out or slap the side of the blaster to make it work again

For me it's the 12 mag. I have a lot of them, they're easy to load and have a pretty good capacity, but for full auto blasters i use 18s.

12 dart straight mag is my personal favorite between volume and size
18 round stick mags are good if you keep them in pouches near the hip and 10 round stick rounds are good for chest

The thing is that 18 round mags are slim and have a mid capacity and if u use the clear or transparent stick mags then you can always know how much ammo you have and there are other companies that make 18 round mags but if you want a higher capacity then you should use a 22 round worker mag and 12 is also good because kids can carry them on their body whereas 18/22 round mags are bigger and 6 to 10 round mags should be used in snipers
this is why the jolt is objectivley the best blaster of all time

18 round stick mags are my personal favorite. Painted clear or not doesn’t matter to me. I also dig the appearance of the 22 round black banana mags.
I really like the 6 ammo magazine cuz its really nice for snipes and elite pistols and i like the drum magazine that is in the middle and the dark 15 ammo magazine so cool for rifles. Even the 20 or 22 ammo magazine is gotta be heavy with the gun.

the 18 round drum mag is super underrated. its about as big as a 12 magazine. the only con is that it's drum shaped which could lead to some storage issues

Just make a fast-mag style setup with two 25-round drums or better yet, 35-round drums
Toss it onto a modified Stryfe or Rapidstrike w/Uzi mod and bam

I have bought 2 clear 18 round mags (not original) for 4 € each on ebay. I have used them a lot and still they are better than my original mags and work very well on Regulator.

My loadout: X Shot Turbo Advance with 40 dart cylinder and 2 pockets filled up with darts and sometimes a melee (got a kill with it).

35 round drum mag in blaster
2 18 round stick clear mags in bag
Upgraded Doublestrike in holster
Emergency triad and 2 round modulus pistol
Plus a bag which carries the two emergency pistols, ammo, and my other emergency big shock

25 round drum
Upgrade kit grip and barrel
Backup is a Dart Tag gun with one barrel and 4 darts in it (I forgot the name)
My new loadout (becouse my friend somehow managed to brake plunger rotation mechanism in my Turbo Advance): 97cm long PVC pipe (that counts as melee) with a thicker part at one end so it has better range and pockets and hand full of darts (doubeled my K/D ratio in less than 4h)
My load out: deploy with a six round mag, and a crossfire
my personal favorite mag is the 30 round drum mag (from the infinus) which i might get soon because i only have 10 round mags right now, but the drum mag has a good combination of size and capacity. its small enough not to bash into doorframes while having good capacity and it isnt offset like the 35 round drum which is just unbalanced.

In my opinion, the 18 round Drum mag is the best. If your using a mediator, or a raider, you probably going to smack into a doorway if your using a 18 round stick mag, plus it isn’t to heavy to keep on you

How to calculate how many darts you need in every mag
(Darts / s (seconds)) / the function (x) of the interval in s • dps(x)^2
Dps / f(x (interval of s))
Example: 4 / 2 • 4 = 8 per mag recommended
