Grian having under 20 hearts and then trapping and 3 v 1 ing and actually almost killing Gem was crazy. I think Gem would have def won if it werent for that. He accidently gave Scar the win lmao
Grian and scar performed extraordinarily well this finale, dealing multiple lives-worth of damage. So proud of them, true veterans of the life series.
Funny how Grian, even though never siding with Scar even once this series, barely even meeting him, was still ultimately his biggest companion, ensuring his victory by dealing massive damage to Gem
also by screwing up a tnt trap earlier that was meant for scar, it'd do a lot of dmg, possibly killed him
Man, if Grian had managed to do one more minecart, he might have taken out the entire group in one shot. He basically destroyed the entire cherry team in that fight. That's crazy. If he hadn't managed to detonate that bomb, Gem probably would have won.
How is there so little comment about Scott's sacrifice to keep Gem empowered. Talk about good choices in teammates and the power of working together.
it was sad Gem didn't get to use the crystal in the final fight. Would've been cool if she could throw it down at the last moment ending the whole thing in a 3-way draw but oh well
Which is meaningless in the end because of how much she threw that fight.

Oh my God! Scotts sacrifice! Telling her to take his life while simultaneously giving her his best stuff. The fade out as Gem tries to process. This is peak cinema!
I love how Gem and Scott have the exact same moment in their videos of them looking for each other, just in different locations.
Grian did a good job defending, he was 3v1 and still did quite some damage to all 3 of them

Even though I'd love to see Gem win this one, I was truly amazed by how Grian clutched that trap...He changed the tide of the war, and another team had a chance to fight Gem and the Scotts!

A great first season for Gem. Even though she didn’t win, this really was Gem’s season, but it was also Scar’s. The best season of Life yet.
God I love the dynamic between you and Pearl. It's just so wholesome to watch, even if you're literally chanting "murder camel". This just made my entire day.
I don't use twitter/x much, but I wanted to see if anyone had mentioned a synchronised upload time since it was the finale, and saw that gem mentioned that her mental health is really bad on Fridays because of people nitpicking about the life series. So as a huge fan of the series (and a new gem viewer), I'm so glad gem was a part of this season. I really enjoyed her videos and was looking forward for hers every week and I really hope that the negative experience of a vocal minority don't prevent her from joining a potential next season.
This was such an amazing series, and that final Cherry Vs Mounders battle was insane! I’m so glad that, in Gems first season, she got so close to winning!

Oh my god, I watched grians ep first and I knew he went out with a bang but jeez he changed the outcome of the series. If Cleo stayed with him maybe they could have even won. This series really is a good example of the butterfly effect, even the smallest little actions can make huge shockwaves

I loved having Gem on this season 💕 her cheeriness while killing everyone in the zombie apocalypse was hilarious. As a fellow Canadian it felt on point. 👍 I loved how their area was still cute and intact too & I hope she comes back next season if Grian thinks up a new twist.

This was a great series. Gem, you should be very proud of yourself that you made top 4, in your first full appearance in the Life Series. You did amazing this season and I loved the grouping of Gem and the Scott’s. It was wholesome to watch and I loved all the chaotic moments you brought like the Ender dragon fight and the Zombie apocalypse(I know that was a take but still) Very happy to see one of the fellow Canadians making top 4 this time.

This was so cool! I’ve been loving watching everyone’s POVs for this final episode and seeing all the events come together from everyone’s perspectives. If I didn’t already know this was your first Life series I’d probably never guess because WOW did you do well! 3rd place, and had one or two things gone differently you very well could have won!

What a finale! I absolutely love every second of it, and the start of the last battle between the Cherry Blossoms and the Mounders made me hurt in a good way! The angst between you and Scott's death, and also the angst between Gem and Pearl asking each other to come to their side!
Oh my gosh, what a finale!! And the editing in this episode was just top notch! Love the little flashfoward montage in the beginning and the emotional edits. Made me tear up a bit 🥲
