      Carleton Maybell I Find Myself Falling Back Into The Same Keys When I Write.
      My Favourite Keys Being B Minor, F And F# Minor, C Minor, C# Minor And Eb Major.
      I Know Eb Major’s Relative Key Is C# Minor.
      I Love To Write Using Minor Chord Progressions.

    Hey Carleton, maybe I've missed something but I don't understand why you called the chords 2 and 3?? Everything was clear to me on the other video ( 3 easy RnB Chord progression) but here I'm confused... Thank you in advance

    • @CarletonM
      @CarletonM  Před 4 lety

      In this video I'm in the key of E major. Which is E - F# - G# - A - B - C# - D# - E. So I call the progression a 2-3-4 because we're going from the F# to the G# to the A. Hope that helps 👍🏾

    What’s the easiest key to play in?

    • @kablebeatz9201
      @kablebeatz9201 Před 4 lety +2

      This particular progression is easy to play in Cmaj key as it's only back keys. Dmin7-Emin7-F7

    • @CarletonM
      @CarletonM  Před 4 lety +1

      Yeah Like C. G. Mathieu said, Cmaj would be the easiest because it's basically all white keys. Here's another tip too. If you play IImin7 - III7 - IVmaj7 you can create an even smoother vibe. Changing the II from a minor 7 to a dominant 7 gives this progression waaayyyyy more flavor. If you have any more questions about this email me.
