This Skate Dad Hacks video will show you how to build a homemade DIY handy shower/hand washing rinse kit for use at the skatepark, surfing, beach, camping, and other applications where you need to have fresh water.
Very cheap and easy to build using things readily available at your local hardware store and requires no batteries.
We have used this DIY Rinse Kit quite extensively over the last several years. It has definitely been handy when visiting various skateparks and places we have visited on road trips.
Looking back, here are just a few things we have used the rinse kit in addition to washing our hands.
1. Portable shower to rinse off the elbow & knee pad funk after skateboarding.
2. Fresh water source for rinsing plates, mugs and utensils after picnicking.
3. Fresh water source for a friend's thirsty dog.
4. Cleaning dog crap off our son's shoes.
5. Extra water for car's radiator in case something happens during road trip.
6. Rinsing off wounds from road rash
