- New set up for Middle Aged Skate Dad in 2024. Skate Warehouse has a daily promotion called, "Daily Dose" where they will put a product on their page for a promotional or deep discount price. On March 28, 2024, they put a Santa Cruz Erick Winkowski Crystal Caves deck on sale for $36 and free shipping. Decided to try out this uniquely designed and shaped board.

Bushings - Bones Medium on Bottom, Bones Soft on Top - Sport
That's the first board I got in 2019 when I got released from the pen after 6 years. I got the complete. I don't know how he skates that board and hits handrails.Crazy!!!

thats a steal for the winkowski! during the pandemic winkowski decks were sold out everywhere!
It was a great deal that was too good to pass up. What pissed me off during the pandemic was people would buy this one, the Andy Anderson Heron, and the Anti-Hero White and Orange Eagle boards and then put them up on ebay for $200-$300.

I did not think I would like the board because of the size, but over the past 2 weeks, it has become my daily rider.

Hell yea man shred it might grab this deck and set it up as a outside cruiser since my nikky Guerrero is my main deck and I have a of ripper and Steve cab I skate once and a blue and don’t want to mess up. Might grab this on sale to shred the hell out of it. Wondering if I should put my 169: on it or get 215/“s never skated a deck over. 10x30
I'd say stick w/ the 169s, Ace 55s (classic), Ace AF-1 66s
Yea I have 169s on all my deck I got 215s and there fine the reason I went 215 is for later so in case I want a 10.5 or something. The 215 actually aren’t bad they don’t stick out as much as you think and it feels good. I am loving this missle 2 concave this is my 6th deck in two months these reissue are so fun! Last one until summer though. Gonna build a Frankie bulldog from power this summer. My first Santa cruise and I am really loving it so far
Did my grip similar to yours with clear on the top so you could see the Santa Cruz on top
I got 2 of these on this Daily Dose special myself! GREAT DEAL! Had to act fast! Gunna set em up with some Indy 159s with a 1/4 in riser. Reds. Bones SPF 56 mm. Haven’t got the grip yet.

The 159s at our house went to my son's board. Coincidentally, Aces worked out for dad including the color way.
ACE Classic 55 or 66?
didn't read the description :) 55's! Beautiful set-up man! Gonna get a Winkoswki paired with ACE's as well :)
I think 8Baller rides 159s on his board, but the 55s worked out really well. The wheels & axle nuts are still tucked in under the board and it rides just like any other board w/ a 15" wheelbase.
