Lyrics
I'm not man or machine
I'm just something in between
Whoa, oh, whoa, whoa
I'm all love, a dynamo
So push the button and let me go
Whoa, oh, whoa, whoa
You want me to come alive
Flick the switch into overdrive
You and me can let it be
Ready (ready), aim (aim), fire
Touch that dial
Turn me on
Start me like a motor
Make me run
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
Turn that dial all the way
Shoot me like a rocket into space
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it, c'mon
I got fun, you want some
I'm ever ready, Dr. Love
Whoa, oh, whoa, whoa
I'm antenna, aerial
I'm tunin' in, I'm outta control
Whoa, oh, whoa, whoa
You got love, you got a deal
You wanna drive then take the wheel
You and me can let it be
Ready (ready), aim (aim), fire
Touch that dial
Turn me on
Start me like a motor
Make me run
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
Turn that dial all the way
Shoot me like a rocket into space
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it, all right
Oh, you want me to come alive
So flick the switch into overdrive
You and me can let it be
Ready (ready), aim (aim), fire
Touch that dial
Turn me on
Start me like a motor
Make me run
(Lovin')
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
Turn that dial all the way
Shoot me like a rocket into space
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
C'mon and touch that dial
Turn me on
Start me like a motor
Make me run
Turn that dial all the way
Shoot me like a rocket into space
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it

One of the best looked over bands of the 80's.
Dokken
@@SSNESS I like dokken too
Woke up today with this song in my head. Long live '80s music and Loverboy!
Me too , I had to hear at soon as I got up. 😂
I love you for knowing to write ‘80s and not 80’s. Rock on, Lisa!
Bless yer Ears!
Robert John mutt large written this song.
That’s your problem…😅😅😅
Best wishes, from Michigan.
There never will be a decade like the 80's . If the time machine would be a reality, would love to go back to the 80's again.
Loverboy never gets old.
I'm 52 and still Lovin Every Minute of it!!!!
60 here and Same. Whenever life is good, and sweet. 🌟✨
I remember as a kid in the early 80's seeing every lover boy vid on MTV.
I had this on a 45 rpm, and if memory serves me the flip side was bullet in the chamber
Never realized how good some of these guys voices were. Dudes got some pipes...
Mike Reno is one of the unsung heroes of the 80's. Never got the credit he deserved as one of the best vocalists around.
Along with Martin Frye from ABC.
Listen to Turn me Loose if you really want to hear him belt.
Dude mike reno and this band couldve been metal artist like Queensryche dream theatre all of them were capable of being metal gods
Sean E Cash they were all great and you’re still on the radio Toto lover boy you name it they’re all still jammin strong because that was real music
Mike Reno delivers everytime!! What a voice.
If u wanna hear Mike Reno @ his best (outside of Loverboy); check out Sammy Hagar's "Remember The Heroes". Mike's vocals truly shine on this true power-ballad. That song still gives me "chills" (especially when Mike Reno sings). Imagine if Mike Reno & Ian Thomas collaber8d on a song 2gthr. That would b PURE MUSICAL BLISS!!!!!
@@billybandyk0720thanks for that fact. Very good song. Also see Johnathon Cain is in the credits on that one also…
@@jblakes097 Thanks, Jack. I didn't realize that Jonathan Cain (from Journey) was on "Remember The Heroes". After all; FACTS SPEAK 4 THEMSELVES!!!!!
@@billybandyk0720 off the album three lockbox if I recall one of Sammy’s best
@@donthomas4793 Correct u r, Donnie.
Long live the 80's..proud to say I grew up then and went to so many concerts and absolutely adored the hairbands. Will never be another era like this again sadly.
We DEFINITELY got to grow up with the BEST music and COOLEST cars. I'm glad those "Elephant- ear" bell bottoms and "fro's" are gone though😉
@@Persevererauxwright U betcha. BTW; the best fuckin' music came from Canada (Loverboy, April Wine, Triumph, Pat Travers, & Ian Thomas amongst notables but definitely not limited 2 them).
@@billybandyk0720 1/2 the bands you list were in the 70s rather than 80s
Patently untrue. I grew up in the 80s and we had great variety but it is a golden age now where you can listen to anything you want and new great bands in every genre. Plus 1/2 of what people bring up as 80s was 70s. I could easily make the case there were better bands in the 70s or 90s than the 80s.... but people rely on emotion instead of logic.
@@ws8080 Maybe so but the majority of them were also successful in the 1980s.
This came out my Junior year in High School. It was an absolute banger then and still is. This was played at all the weekend parties over and over. Thats what it was about, having a GREAT TIME and LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!
This song awakens the rock in my veins. It feels so damn good. I miss the 80s.
Here here🤘🏻
SAME HERE TOO MY FRIEND
WE ALL DO!!!!!!!
‘80s babes everywhere!!!!
And THEY Don't AGE!
Simply BRILLIANT!!!
😂 ❤ 😅
I was told black people do listen to rock!!....I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL!!!
The 80's woulda stayed if it wasn't for those Dayum 90's! Lovin' every decade of it! YEAH!!!
That's us plenty of catchphrases.Key Largo to Wonderful Life
Smurfs and Snorks.Knight Rider to Street Hawk and Airwolf
This has almost everything I loved about the 80s -- including Three's Company, apparently.
Yes sir damn straight but don’t forget Def Leopard wrote that song
rumour has it Mr Roper was on the set but got mobbed by all the women so much that they couldn't do any filming so he was kicked off

80s are a class of rock music thats is in its own league. Unbeaten till this day!
It's not about the 80s, it's about Vancouver. Vancouver rock is in its own league. (There. Fixed it.)

After 40 yrs, sooo much to unpack with this video. Wow. Their best song, imo, rocks to this day.
classic 80s sound, love it every minute of it))
When the video starts with a band covering another song by the band you’re watching another song of. Classic baby!
This song rocks hard, horribly underrated band.
🤘🤘🤘
I know it’s sad :(
Everything good about the '80's right here.
Robert Brooks this is the song that describes the 80s
Hot chicks with big ass 80's hair... *swoon*
More kids on flying bikes or hoverboards, but otherwise..yeah, perfect 1980's.
Talk about damning with faint praise.
So classic!!!
The pretty blonde holding the tray of drinks at 1:43 is Jenilee Harrison - she played my roommate Cindy Snow on the show Three's Company.
Well spotted, sir. I couldn't tell if that was Harrison or Jayne Modean.
Jack Tripper she was hot
You're trippin tripper....
I knew she looked familiar.
My god I loved her. She "turned me on" with that look in the video.
Absolutely, unequivocally, positively one of the most underrated bands ever. They fucking Rock. SO CAN I GET A HELL YEAAAA FOR THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!!!!
Lucky enough to see them live in Daytona Beach back in the day. They were awesome!
This is a true statement
@@ComradeJetski I'm 48 years old and I grew with this music, I clearly remember. Clearly speaking of the decades that followed, don't tell me they got the respect and the due diligence owed to them. In an age where Brian Adams and Cory Heart, competing for their glory Lover Boy absolutely got looked over.
Saw them on City Island in Harrisburg, PA summer of 1985, hands down, one of the best live shows I've ever seen. And I say that even compared to bands like Iron Maiden, Priest, Motley Crue and Metallica. Those were all great shows but the Loverboy show was definitely one of my absolute favorite live shows.
Agreed- Loverboy's music and imagery always good for a vicarious thrill!
Take me back to the 80s. I loved every fkin minute of it!
Me too!
This song still rocks! There will never be good music like this again
I miss the 80s too
Take me and my fucking dog back to the fucking 80’s, please! I made live a very very technologically fantastic world. But I will trade in every single Dr is to go back to go to the old days. It was a whole different world, In today’s world, I’m afraid to bring air. I
@Brian J. Carnevavale. I do every single waking day. I still wanna go back!
AMEN TO THAT BROTHER 🙏
No looks like the roaring 20s but it's not.
Even the "band" at the beginning sounds better then 80% of music today.

Loverboy was at the top for a short time in those great 80s MTV days. Great band great good time rock
This video couldn't GET any more eighties.

I wasn't even born yet in the 80s and honestly for me nothing compares 80s is the best music ever!
Plus the "Guest Star hottie from 3's Company as the waitress with the drinks. Jenilee Harrison.

I was born in 2000. I am 18 years old but I grew up with a dad who loved rock n roll, and I am so grateful I grew up listening to all of this. Absolutely love this music and this song
Jaime McCaffrey My first music was Partridge Family TV Show 1970 - 1974. As much as I liked the Music those 70s Concerts were crazy because of very little Security. Indoor concerts were just as bad. Then again how do you control 75,000 fans. My sister was one of those 70s girls that had the Hots for Long Hair Rock Stars. I did feel bad for her she was born with that IRISH Red Hair. I also felt bad she was only girl out of 10 IRISH Kids. IRISH are known for having lots of kids. Not gonna Lie some of us liked our Alcohol. I guess IRISH are Different born with Red Hair & Freckels. It sucks most people think all IRISH are Drunks. Mom & Dad had IRISH last names. O'GRADY - KELLY. Good news all 10 kids are still Alive. EVERYBODY LOVES AN IRISH GIRL. Sorry about all IRISH Stuff IM JUST PROUD OF MY IRISH HERITAGE

In my opinion Loverboy was maybe the best rock band of the 80s. Super Underrated band . Their sound was in top level . They still are one of my best bands ever . I still listen to them without feeling bored at all with their sound .
In my opinion if someone was the best rock band in the 80s then there pretty much best rock band ever of any generation.
Not my Era, could not agree with what you said ! Butt hurt ppl !
The 1980’s was the greatest time to be alive. Not even an argument
No argument here.... And the 70’s was badass to!!!
I concur sir!! 'Been thinking about those eighties a hell of a lot lately. Lol 🤙

Lots of fucked up shit in the 80s. Don't let the rose-color fog your glasses. Nostalgia is nice, but tends to distort reality.
I’d give anything to go back even for a day !
Definitely one of their best
Oh those sounds of the eighties. Now I know why I have sirius/xm radio. Miko Reno were great. Now let me tune in a little Autograph.

I'm an 80's child too and I can say: U R TOTALLY WRONG, there's loads of amazing new music, and loads of reeeally bad music from the 70's and the 80's, is just a matter of keeping an ear open for it, and not expecting to hear any decent music on the POP radio, cause, as u might know they play what they r told 2 and not the good thing.
