I love your idea of picking certain Pinterest design photos that you want to capture in your home w your own spin. I am going to try this! I tend to forget what I have and will buy things that I don’t need or don’t use. I think this will help me stay more focused. Btw, I love what you did w the island!

I agree w/Pamela about sharing Pinterest pictures; these ideas are simple and just enough. W/being a senior, one needs to think of downsizing, as well as loved ones discarding ‘stuff ‘ they do not want! I have had some experience w/loved ones that have passed. Thank u for your time, wonderful decorating and ideas for us.

I did a basket with the florals and blanket. Then I used those new pillows that are shaped like pumpkins. All different sizes and colors. I've gotten so many compliments on it

We just came home from spending days looking at beautiful homes. We found a custom home in a new subdivision and fell in love with it. We are seriously considering buying. Met the builder and he is very accommodating. I have a beautiful home 8 years old, but this home is smaller inside for my husband and me, especially as we are older. Loving all the new finds for your Fall collection. I will not be doing Fall decor in my present home as we will put it on the market. I will have to enjoy watching your home decor for the season.

Love all the inspiration, but the dough bowl was my favorite! I didn't think the green on those stems was bad, but when you changed it to the other green it was so much better. Keep those pillows (porch decor).

Use your tablecloths instead of blanket. You can make a wreath from.florals. put the two pillows on your porch chairs
I think they have the plaid runner at hobby lobby. I think! I would put your crock on the kitchen island and the dough bowl on your dining table. Good luck!

I love everything that you are have on plan super nice. I’m going to give you a super idea. My husband did it for me. I when to the thrift store. Purchase a twin head board and foot and did a bench. Danny can do it is very smart. Thank you.

The plaid orange blanket throw on the bench I found that same one last year at dollar general for 15.00 so BEAUTIFUL!! They may have it again this year.

I’ve just found your channel, and this was a really fun idea for a video. For the plaid scarf or blanket you need for the first look, maybe try a thrift store. Blanket scarves were really popular a few years ago and one should be easy to find.

It looks like a huge mountain of fall decor but the house really does swallow it up. Also I want that herringbone brick on my porch. When I decorate I strive for a Gilmore vibe. I love that you said that! 🍁The white flowers are snowball viburnum. You went from hydrangea to verbena. That's what I do with penstemon and pentisedum. Lol

I need a dough bowl. I have wanted one for quite some time. Now seeing the way you will decorate it, I need one now. I could probably go walk outside and find some pine cones. And maybe some branches. It will be a while for the leaves to be an orange color. I’m on Pinterest all the time. But I haven’t looked for fall decor. I can’t wait to see what your fall decorating looks like. I don’t usually decorate for fall. I’m not sure I have anything to decorate with.

I agree with you that we should take inventory of all the decor we have and if we aren't using it and know we probably will never use it again, we should get rid of it. Those items might make someone else very happy to have it!
