MF is great. I started using MF in 1994. Jeff, the owner is a great guy.
Ive had a few of there colors for a while but really started to expand the last couple years. I really like their color options and consistency

I too am a bait maker ( personal use only for now) been at it for 5 yrs and I'm often trolling sites trying to pick up hints or new ideas....I like ur format and details....so many people have to act all crazy....keep up great work. I do have 1 question. the goby mold is a neat looking deal .... how was ordering from an overseas company?... I'm leary of that and not sure why
They are actually extremely reliable when it comes to molds. The only downside to ordering from them is that shipping can take a while. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again though
Those translucent colors need a base color too really make them pop!
Ya I’ll keep playing with them to get different colors. I just wanted to see what they looked like by themselves for the first runs

You can have a black, white, or whatever base and you'll see that translucent color pop. Tight Lines!
I haven’t tried the white base so I’ll have to give that a shot too. Tight lines 🎣
You would be amazed what one single drop of black could do for you.
I add a base color most of the time but when trying colorants for the very first time I like to see how they are without a base

It’s a never ending cycle lol. I’m constantly thinking of what colors to mix and the best applications for each pigment

These are nice colorants. As you said the smoke is great for adjusting colors.
I haven't used the sparkle violet, but do use a lot of the disco violet which is also very heat sensitive.
To maintain the flake on remelts, I have found if I do 15-20 second blasts in a 2 cup measuring cup the flake will survive.
Even small amounts (1/2 cup) works out ok.

Thanks Jim!! And yes I am able to get some reheats out of this but after about 3 times it starts to kinda turn a slight greenish/yellow color. Super cool flake though
Disco violet and sparkle violet are both the same! FYI
@@michaelace4739 Not the ones I have. Lureworks Sparkle violet always looks violet. M-F Disco Violet, the color disappears on the flip.

Who do you buy your flake from?
I have flake from several different places but my favorite regular flake is from Baitplastics and I use the sparkle flake from Lureworks

Could you sell that open pour mold you made to a person so they could do the same thing make stuff for them to use
I’m not sure to be honest. I think you are allowed to sell the molds just not the baits
