I love the climber. I have it in black and red. The red one is one of my EDCs. The swiss champ is a monster so I'am not surprised that the 4 layer Huntsman is the most selled Victorinox knife. PS: actually my favorite one is the Spartan with translucent blue scales 🫶
My edc is the victorinox fieldmaster because it's got a Philips driver instead of the corkscrew but eh use is different for each prison I did have a Swiss champ for many years and it got lost and I'm still very upset about it now thanks for sharing this post with us and your favorite victorinox Swiss army knife happy now year
There's a very similar knife in the Evolution series (three layer with scissors and corkscrew) that has a nail file instead of a second blade. It's 85mm rather than 91mm, and really very nice. It was one of Wenger's models before Vic bought Wenger, so has Wenger's scissors (a slightly different design, but they're still scissors). It's a belter. No pin hole though…
Just usual victorinox naming, doesnt make sense but it makes it seem like it's a whole new model to new customers while in reality they mightve just changed the scales or changed out one tool.
The scissors are supreme
I have a Spartan black one and I think it’s great

Name?
Evo 14? Seems quite pricey in the UK for what it is around £40 the climber is £25-35 and the compact £32-38
I still carry my old *Wenger Traveler,* the smaller size & weight is nice.
Victorinox _used_ to make a smaller 84mm Climber.
I love the Climber also great video !
The Compact is a great 2 layered with scissors
For me I love the compact, it does it all ,I have 3 of them and always carry one 😀👍
I think the combotool is a bad compromise if I can get the genuine cap lifter instead. What's your take on this?
1.5 speed
I actually think that the two layer knives are perfect for the pocket. Anymore than that, it's time for a sheath.
For you maybe lol I can carry a Swiss champ in the pocket no problem 😂
@@grovesy333 _ To each their own, lol...😏👍
You can glue a nail file somewhere in the knife just what I did with my SAK Hercules model, my EDC.
Nobody cares for the toothpick but, it is great for cleaning out lint and dirt from inside the knife.
The head of the toothpick can be used to open certain instruments that are hard to open by hand. [Try it some time].
Keep both blades sharp. A dull blade will slip and is more likely to cut you.
You’re kind of weird, kid. I like that about you.
The notch on the large screwdriver/ bottle opener blade is a wire stripper
Hold the wire in the notch and cut with the large blade. Rotate around the wire to fully cut away the insulation.
Bruh you need a compact
Dr pepper is better. I mean. Climber vs Super Tinker
Both the same just one has a screwdriver and the other a corkscrew
Why was it called a Climber?

@@wilx2703 thank you. I'm buying one as it is more compact.
I see just a guy. No knife.
