I have watched a couple of these types of videos and the one interaction that has not been mentioned is the forehead rest. The cat I had a very strong bond with and I would often sit forehead to forehead, sometimes for several minutes. Not rubbing, not talking, just sitting with our foreheads. I found it a very intimate moment.
It really is
My late cat Finnegan and I did that, it was what I called a "kitty kiss"
It was definitely one of the most intense feelings
Not only do cats see into other realms you can do your own research on that, but I always have found when a cat has rested their forehead to forehead with us. It was a deep connection, almost like a spiritual thing and this is just my own personal beliefs and opinion for I have experience this many times with a few cats in my life because cats sense things like our vibes are emotions & so on & so forth, I have always found any time that a cat has done that with me. How can I explain this? I felt like a deeper connection when the interaction was going on like a love warmth I would call it a big hug like as we got from our mothers when we were a child that unconditional love that connection I don’t know if you understand that or not or if anything that I have said makes any sense it’s like a feeling you can’t explain but I personally think it’s a deeper connection because not all cats do that we must say they are surely different, but what a blessing into our lives I Love & enjoy my cats. I have four, and they’re all a blessing to me🐱 much love & positive vibes & many Prayer’s to all 🙏🏻
I've heard that this is a cat's kiss. Count yourself blessed as not a lot of cats do this.
#8. Blink back when your cat blinks at you.
#7. Leave them alone when they want alone time and respect their preferences like when they don't want to be picked up.
#6. They are smiling with their tail straight up with a slight curl at the top.
#5. Play with your cat.
#4. Pet your cat when they let you.
#3. Cats associate food with affection.
#2. Learn their body Language.
#1. Let them sleep with you.
User, you describe my relationship with Louie, my brown tabby, a former foster I adopted 10 years ago to a "T".
I learned very early that one does not "instruct" a cat.
The cat is the professor. Respect his privacy when he goes into closet. He wants to be alone, to think deep thoughts.
Louie taught me the technique of " eye blinking ".
Now I'm quite good at it.
Who would have thought that cats were masters of Morse code? but then they have been around millions of years longer than we have. They've had lots of time to figure things out.
"........then on the second day the Lord created the cat and He saw that it was very good."
You are welcome, but I only clarified the list of what the video stated. Sometimes people need to read a list but don't have the time to watch the video. However, I am happy for you that it brought back good memories for you. And remember this. Dogs serve us , but we really serve our cats as an agreement in living with them. In the life with a cat. It really isn't yours, you just live with them and help them live with you.@@johkkarkalis8860
thank you for your post...the voice was so annoying I couldn't finish listening
Ahh yess...thank you! 👍
Your Welcome to everyone that needed this.
"I will not live with you all your life
I can't live so long...
But I will live with you all MY life..."
(c) Cat
Such profound words that capture the fleeting but impactful love of our feline companions. Their time may be limited, but the love they give during their lifetime is immeasurable. 🐾❤
Feline philosophy worthy of Plato.
My 9 year old brown tabby, Louie, could have taught the ancient Greeks a thing or two:
"And on the second day the good Lord created the cat, and saw it was very good! Man was an afterthought".
They never respect my personal space!!! LOL anyone else have bathroom buddies?
Haha, I can totally relate! 😂 Cats and their endless curiosity, right? It's like the moment we close the bathroom door, it becomes the most interesting room in the house to them. And shower time? Prime cat entertainment! 🚿🐱 I swear, it's like they're thinking, "What's that human doing with all that water? Must investigate!" You're definitely not alone in the bathroom buddy club.
Mine goes to his litter box when I go to the bathroom. Literally pee buddies.
@dayanna901 mine too we were both pooping together once
I know my cat loved me and this video proves it. He showed all the signs. I hope i showed him how much I loved him. We had to put him down last week. He was 15 years old and i had him since he was 4 weeks old. I miss him so much. 😢
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's evident from your words how deeply you loved your cat and the bond you two shared. Fifteen years together creates countless memories, and it's clear he felt your love every single day. While the pain of losing such a cherished companion is immense, remember the years of love, care, and happiness you provided him. Your cat knew how much you loved him, and those memories will stay with you forever. Sending you warmth and comfort during this difficult time. 🐾❤️
I had to have my cat put down about 4 months ago. I couldn't stand to be without a cat, and got another cat right away.
@@Feline_Fanatics thank you
😢😢😢😭😭
dogs prepare a couple for having children, cats prepare a couple for having teenagers.
Haha, that's a brilliant observation! 😂 Cats do have that independent, "I'll do it my way" attitude that reminds us of teenagers. Thanks for sharing that insight, it genuinely made me smile! 🐶🐱👶👧
I tried slow blink with my cat, and she looked at me like I was from Mars
Haha, oh dear! 😹 Cats can have such quirky reactions sometimes. Maybe she was just pondering the new "language" you were speaking. Keep trying, and who knows? One day she might just blink back and join the interplanetary communication! Thanks for sharing that fun moment with us. 🐱💫🚀
And rhe pig got up and slowly walked away!!!
It can take a little while for them to embrace this new ‘human’ behavior; they will respond / reply.
Mine did the same and then went to sleep lol
A note for the narrator: don’t inhale helium before talking to your cat!
I'll pay that comment!!!
Hahhahahhaha 😂
Hysterical 😂😂
Almost caused me to leave the video…..computers are simply not human 😱
I actually think her voice is kinda cute imo
Every cat I've ever had has ended up a shoulder cat. None of them started out that way. One was so intent on being held all the time that she mistook another bearded man as me at a large house party and leaped on his shoulder from the top of a fridge. Not a cat person before but at the end of the day he was giving her a favorite treat, a drink from a poland string bottle. Awesome cat.
I can speak for myself only.... but I find my 2 cats do more for my well-being than any medication or vitamin. My 6 yr old big boy (16lb) loves to be not only petted, but gently flopped on his side and rubbed all over including his stomach. My old man (16yrs) loves a good head and neck massage, but do not touch his back paws... I think something happened when he was young before, he was found and taken to a rescue, where we got him.
It's really heartwarming to hear how much your cats contribute to your well-being. Our feline friends indeed have a unique way of healing us, don't they? Your big boy and your older gentleman seem to have their own special preferences, and it's amazing how well you understand them! Thank you for sharing these lovely moments with your fur companions. It's stories like yours that truly encapsulate the beauty of our bond with pets.
My big guy Little Men has to sleep snuggled up in my right armpit on his back, his idea when younger. And now I can’t sleep without him in my armpit. So I agree my fur babies help me more then anything else
@@Newbeginnings228 Couldn't agree more! 😹 It's amazing how such small creatures can bring so much joy and laughter into our lives.
If a cat exposes its belly to you or allows you to pet him/her there, you know this cat trusts you.
When I send her a distant kiss, she always blinks her eyes 😊
Aww, that's such a sweet gesture from her! It's like she's sending kisses back! 🐱💕😊
You know it would eat your face if you die, a dog would die first
Thank u for the information. I MISS MY CAT. He passed away 2 weeks ago. I was also HIS CHOSEN ONE. It is AMAZING the loyalty the kitty has with me. He was very special. Everytime i woke up for work st 3am. He followed me EVERYWHERE , i come home from work,, he is waiting for me. He also would be underneath the dining room chair where he has the view of everyone however i knew he didnt want to be bothered. If he did come out, he would want treat or pets. Whwnever my son and i are playing on living room floor, he comes right out from the chair snd come by me and lay down on his back for belly rubs and always has to be touching me like he would put his head on my foot onr lay on me. He was BEST CAT. Today we are gettin 2 baby 5 month kittens. It gonna be full of happiness
I cry every time I think of William. I'm blubbering now.
Listening to this video I feel like the computer generated voice is talking to children
Growing up, we had a male Maincoon and female Siamese blue point. I did not know these suggestions for interaction when I was younger, but found out by doing, that all this information is true. I think fondly of Puff and Muffin when I am down and depressed. Their memories are a great cure for the blues.
I envy those people who can just pick up their cat. With my little panther that's a big no no. He jumps on my lap when he feels like it.
Ah, the classic independent feline spirit! Every cat has their own personality and quirks, and it sounds like your little panther likes to be the one calling the shots. As long as he's happy, that's what matters! 🐾
My kitty isn't keen in being picked up too
I grew up with cats, and I can confirm this information. They have a very intuitive language; much of it nonverbal.
I have two 9 week old kittens. I give them their personal space but they do not give me my personal space. LOL. They sleep with me. they purrrrr when they come next to me. They lick my hands. I think they love me !!!! I never force them to come to me. I just call their name and they will come...and they are still only 9 weeks old so kinda amazing.
Aw, that's absolutely adorable! 😍 Kittens have such an infectious energy, and it sounds like your two little ones are completely smitten with you. Their behaviors - purring, sleeping with you, and responding to their names - are all signs of trust and affection. It's remarkable to see such a strong bond forming at just 9 weeks old. You're definitely doing something right!😺💕
Beautiful creatures and lovely always, I adore my cats, they are my children's
I can totally relate to your sentiment! Cats truly are beautiful creatures and the bond we share with them is indeed special. They're not just pets, they're part of the family. Thanks for sharing your love for your feline family members!
My sister says the same thing about her ten cats. No joke ten. I have one beautiful puss cat . And he can be a handful. Especially at night
When I want him inside. My shadow he's a black puss .
Turns over and exposes his tummy. It's so cute
Then he fights my hand. I have scratches to prove it.
secret technique Nr.1001: Feed you Cat! This shows how much you care for your cat. All this things should be known by EVERY cat owner BEFORE taking care of one. We need more licenses for cats, dogs, children ...
My Manny2 holds the record of fetch. 5 hours straight. He goes into his toy box picks out a foil ball or curl, or his cardboard curl and brings it and I toss it. He brought it back on his own. His sister is starting to get the hang of it. She mostly watches her brother do it. They share the same toy box. The box is falling apart but they don’t care. They have bigger boxes they can both jump into and play.
Cats are adorable fur balls of cuteness. 😂
Absolutely! 😸 Cats are like little bundles of joy wrapped in fur. Cheers to our delightful little fur balls! 🐱❤🎉
These are great facts any loving and responsible cat owner/butler should know. I've noticed though some cats also pick up human modes of communication
and social queues. My British short hair, Uzume, will jump on my desk when I am working at home behind my computer. She then will 'tap' my shoulder repeatedly
to get my attention, usually indicating she wants food, have some time on the balcony or just simply attention. I only have to follow her to learn which.
Yes, my cat has me well trained.
Love it! And, agreed!
I love my fur babies! 🐈 I learned all of these through osmosis throughout the years. This is VERY spot on! ❤
Thanks for your interesting facts about cats! I have had 5 cats over my lifetime. They are so very intelligent!
Thanks for your comment! 🐾 It sounds like you've been graced with the company of many clever felines over the years. 😺 Each one must have brought its own unique charm and personality into your life. And you're absolutely right, cats are incredibly intelligent. They never cease to amaze us with their keen instincts and quick learning! 🐱💕
This was great! My cat is gonna feel some informed love tomorrow!
That's wonderful to hear! Your kitty is surely going to enjoy the extra attention and love. Happy bonding! 🐱💕
Listening to this video I feel like the computer generated voice is talking to children
8:48 Would have been nice if a sample of the "unique solicitation purr" was included so one would know what to listen for.
Haha my cat always walks around with her tail smile haha. She's 9 weeks old and she is so cute. Walks around like she knows she's the baby and my human baby is 10 weeks old lol. She's royalty my kitten and she knows it haha.
That's adorable! 🐱 It sounds like your kitten and your little one are growing up together, which must be such a wonderful experience. It's always charming how kittens carry that air of royalty, isn't it? She seems to have already claimed her throne in your home! 😺💖
Oh I hope my kitty truly does love me and isn't just going through these motions just to be polite.
Haha, love your humor! 😄 I'm sure your kitty adores you. After all, cats are anything but polite when they're not happy! Keep up the love and the laughs! 🐱💕
Polite ? " Love "" thats hilarious just know your role and worship . feeble human . 😹
@@AL4LVE79 Oh how could I not when he is just soooooo CUTE!!!! :D
My 18 years old cat usually tells me when it's Time to go to bed. He likes to sleep with me but how could I actually know what he's up to when I go to sleep. 🐱🏵️ Thank you for your video 🧡
How sweet of your senior kitty to have his own bedtime routine with you! 😺🌙 It's endearing to think of our feline companions having their little nighttime adventures while we're off in dreamland. Who knows, maybe he's guarding your dreams or just enjoying the cozy vibes. Either way, it's clear he cherishes those moments with you. Thank you for sharing such a heartwarming snippet of your life with your fur baby, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! 🐾💤💛
Narrator has very unpleasant high pitch voice plus is speaking extremely fast , completely destroying the video !!!! Get somebody else , preferably man who can speak slowly , not like a machine gun !!!!!!!
I remember the one I grew up with did a lot of slow blinking and squinting his eyes. I rubbed noses with him a lot and would hold him like a baby. He was a very affectionate cat and would come along when my mom would walk the dog. She would be on the side of the road and he'd be walking through the woods. He also sat on my lap. I remember one time in particular, it was a Sunday morning and I was the first one up. I got the NY Times and I was sitting in low light in a den area cross legged with the Times on my lap. Sandy came into the room. I didn't see him, but I heard the purr. He had a guttural purr; kind of like an old VW Beetle engine. Anyway, he came up and pretty soon I was sitting cross legged with the NY Times on my lap and a purring cat on top of the NY Times.
I too would walk my German Shepard w/ my formerly feral cat. I was quite the treat. lucky us!
"Thank you" to all of the creators of the video. I really liked it. ❤❤❤
When a cat curls up next to your chest when you're about to sleep, their level of trust for you is sky high. Their natural instinct is to find the safest place to sleep because that is when they're at their most vulnerable. By choosing to sleep right next to you, they know that you'll keep them safe. I used to massage my sisters cat with my fingertips right between her front legs, but gently. She'd purr like tank. She also loved the tops of her toes and pads of her feet rubbed between fingers and thumbs.
The reverse ? is the tail posture you want. Happy chill relaxed cat 😸
My little black kitty Shadow, has, I think, learned that my iPad has a touch screen. When she’s ready for bed, she jumps on my lap and does a BIIIG stretch, making sure my ipad is near her feet, so she can change what i’ m looking at! The little stinker! ❤😊
Haha, Shadow sounds like quite the clever kitty! It's amazing how intuitive cats can be when it comes to technology. Maybe she's just trying to give you a hint that it's bedtime or perhaps she has her own favorite websites to visit! Either way, it sounds like she brings a lot of joy and a touch of mischief to your life. Enjoy those adorable moments with her! 😹❤🐾📱
My cat doesn't know how to meow, even if he is one and a half years old he just squeaks, and that's adoreble
I love my cat and Kitty Kitty Gumdrop (her name, because she's small and sweet) loves me. She will come to bed with me, but sometimes she'll just wait until I'm asleep, then go and prowl the house half the night. Her most favorite toy is a string on a stick. But this small top I got several years ago for a dollar. It's blue, and when you spin it, centrifugal force causes the widest edge to light up with red and blue flashing lights. And for being a cheap toy, it sure spins well and for a long time. Gumdrop is mostly curious and I believe just a little scared of it. She will sit a few feet away and just watch it spin intently. If it moves in her direction, she'll quickly back away. In fact, she won't even go near it until it completely stops spinning, then she'll bat at it real quick, then hurriedly back away. Then do it again. Soon though, she'll come to me and in her little cat way, ask me to spin it one more time. And the cycle starts all over again. We have a lot of fun together.
Your bond with Gumdrop sounds absolutely delightful! It's amazing how much joy and entertainment a simple toy can bring to our feline friends, and it's clear that Gumdrop's fascination with the top creates some truly special moments between you two. Pets have a wonderful way of making even the simplest of things fun and memorable. Thank you for sharing this lovely snapshot of life with your sweet and curious little companion.
I'm not sure where the comment went. Maybe it was taken down. It was a bit offensive. But I wanted to answer the question why my cat (Kitty Kitty Gumdrop) has such a "dumb name" as Renaldo2476 put it. When my wife and I got her, she was called teardrop. That's because she is mostly black, with white socks and a white bib. But she also has some brown and some ginger and a little tan. Sort of the opposite of a calico, only black instead of mostly white. Anyway, she has a triangular ginger striped patch over one eye and the lady we got her from told us it looked like a teardrop when she was first born. But not anymore. My wife and I did not care for teardrop. Too negative, so we spent days trying all sorts of other names ending in drop. Dewdrop, raindrop etc. But my wife decided she liked goody goody gumdrop, and used Kitty in place of goody. Also I am hurt by the comment because Gumdrop and I lost my wife suddenly last June. My wife had a horrible hip problem and so slept on a recliner. And Gumdrop used to normally sleep on her lap. But since my wife passed, she cries nearly every night for several minutes at various times. She does not understand that her "mommy" isn't coming home.
They are wonderful little people. Sadly, we lost another aging cat yesterday - she died on the living room floor in the morning. This year has been horrible - we've lost 4 of our 6 remaining friends from the little colony we've been taking care of. It has been a very sad time - tears shed in all cases. We almost fell alone now but we still have 2 to care for as best we can.
I'm truly sorry to hear about your losses. Losing a beloved pet, let alone multiple, in such a short span of time is incredibly heart-wrenching. They're not just pets but family, and each one holds a special place in our hearts. Taking care of a colony is a testament to your kindness and love for these wonderful creatures. Take comfort in knowing you've provided them with a loving home, and lean on the support of those around you during these challenging times. You're not alone in your grief. Stay strong. 💔🐾
@@Feline_Fanatics Thankyou for your kind words. We really do feel bereaved. Hopefully the 2 remaining friends, my garage cat and the little Tuxedo puss who lives outside (until we can get her to live inside with us) will be with us for many more years.
I'm truly moved by your dedication to your feline friends. The bond with them is so special. Over time, I hope Tuxedo finds her way indoors with you. Their love is a testament to your kindness. Sending comfort and strength your way. 🌈🐱❤
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I learned a lot.
Our cats sleep with us. Unfortunately it makes it harder for me to rest well because I don’t want to disturb their peace when I have to move to get comfortable. 😂
Haha, the things we do for our beloved feline companions! 😂 It's so heartwarming how considerate you are, even if it means sacrificing a bit of your own comfort. Cats sure know how to claim the best spots, don't they? Maybe you can try designating a comfy spot for them at the foot or side of the bed, so everyone gets a good night's sleep. Sweet dreams to you and your furry bedmates! 😺💤
@@Feline_Fanatics They decided it’s their bed n we’re lucky they allow us to sleep on it with them. 😂 I love the little boogers so once I am aware of where they’re at I try to be conscious of their location in order to avoid kicking or bumping them. They tend to wait for us to fall asleep before picking their spots. When Kit Kat joins us he chooses the end of the bed, Bella is an outside edge/up against me sleeper n Romeo’s chosen spot is a Daddy snuggler. 😂 I don’t mind too much but it can be challenging at times. 🥰 I appreciate that they feel comfortable enough to join us. Cats make you earn their respect n trust so it’s an honor to have them join us even if I complain sometimes. 😂
Isn't it just hilarious how they've declared our beds as their territory and we're just mere visitors? 😂 Your dedication to being mindful of their sleeping spots is commendable; It's a testament to the bond you've built with them.@@JeneenRose-Osborne
That's awesome. I've found myself turning into a pretzel on many occasions for that reason.
My 3"sons" have complete run of the house!!! They- are kings.. espcially Booger- who picked ME and brought his brother with him as kittens- the other is a little angel that appeared under a tree here behind the house- and I let him come in-- took me 2 weeks of moving food dishes closer and closer to the porch , then letting him sleep there for a couple weeks before deciding to come in (on his own)-- but I was going to get him anyway- because coyotes were coming closer every evening and he would NOT hae survived another night out. He was a sick little guy and injured but he's making up for lost time now!! ha.
What a heartwarming story! It sounds like the guys found the perfect home with you. The patience and care you showed in welcoming the little one into your home is truly touching, especially with the coyote threat. I bet they're all enjoying their reign as kings of the castle now! It's wonderful to hear how they're thriving under your love and care. Thank you for sharing your special journey with Booger and his brothers. 🐾😺
@@Feline_Fanatics All 3 "kings" are doing well. Spoiled rotten of course!! ha. I'm retired so can spend more time with them. I've learned all the signs (their tale and body language) and can help them enjoy things much more. I have one whining for more attention right now.. THANKS..
@@davidwayne9982
It's so lovely to hear that your guys are living their best lives, being spoiled just as they should be! 😺 Your retirement seems to have come at a perfect time for them, and it's clear they appreciate having you around more. It's wonderful that you've become so attuned to their body language and needs - this no doubt deepens the bond between you all. Give the one whining for attention a little extra love from me! 🐾💕
I've got most of those ways with my cat, but she's not interested in playing with toys. Sometimes she likes to chase around the house, but is totally indifferent to toys. She sleeps with me every night.
I think you might be her 'toy'!
Ways to Tell Your Cat YOU LOVE THEM (in a Language THEY UNDERSTAND)
czcams.com/users/shortsLj8pHUQ1VBk?feature=share
My cats (2 of them), sit on the chair arm (one on each side). They let me kiss them on the top of their heads. They actually lean into it.
Wonderful vid! Leaned a lot today. Thank you for sharing this information too.
It's not hidden at all. I speak this almost more fluently than human body language. Grew up around MANY many cats and have had cats around for all my life.
A couple years back I had this cat named savage. She would always slow blink at me when she was laying down and I had always done it back and now realize I was communicating with her without knowing it.
Cat's also have an eye expression I have observed that is something akin to an eye roll although it's meaning may be somewhat different. It seems to happen if I am being silly or teasing in a playful and chil manner. The majority of reason I do it is to get this eye roll thing. I just love to see it.
Oh, I just remembered that it also can show up when they are genuinely annoyed as well though it is often also accompanied with a tail tip flick.
1. Did you know... I put this on 2x speed at 144p and I still felt like my time and bandwidth was being wasted.
**Whimsical music plays**
My cat loves being scratch/petted, i call it tickle tickle on her armpits it gets her so happy and she gets so kissy while im tickling her😊 its something i made up just to play with her, but she ended up loving it so much! She expects it all the time😊 i love her quirks they are cute and different from everything listed here except the blinking lol she still does these things too but i love when she or i make up something new and stick with it and she enjoys it and i enjoy watching her enjoy it😊 i❤😺🐈
Wow, that "tickle tickle" game sounds like a total hit with your kitty! 🐱 It's amazing how they end up loving the quirky things we come up with. Keep enjoying these special moments with her. The bond between you two is something truly special. 😊🐾
😅n? not 😮🚫😅😮
😊. 😊😊
That's wonderful... It's funny how things become regular part of life with the cats. I adopted my partners mother's cat when she was dying. Out of that sadness something wonderful also began. I've learnt so much about her and the communication in this clip is perfect, should be shown to all cat adopters!
@@jonathanperry4189 I'm deeply touched by your story. 🥺 It's amazing how our feline friends can bring light into our lives, even in the most challenging times. 🐾 Adopting your partner's mother's cat must have been a poignant experience, but it's wonderful to hear how much joy and learning it has brought you. Sending lots of love to you and your cat. 🐱💕✨
Cat loves their cardboard boxes, even squeezing into them for some reason.
Absolutely! Cats do seem to have an unexplainable fascination with cardboard boxes, don't they? Whether it's a spacious box or one they can barely squeeze into, our feline friends are drawn to them. Some believe it's because boxes provide a sense of security and warmth. Others think it's tied to their hunting instincts, as boxes are great hiding spots to pounce from. And of course, the texture of cardboard can be enjoyable for them to scratch and knead. Whatever the reason, it's always entertaining to watch a cat claim a box as their own. 🐱📦💖
I think they like the smell of cardboard ... it's one thing they don't seem able to resist. If it's a cardboard box that has Christmas decorations inside, well that's just irresistable!!
I just a kitten in my apartment ~ a month ago, she is fantastic but feisty lol. There have been mornings where I wake up and she's laying on my legs
Love this 😊
I just recently started working on a farm and no one could touch the barn cat but in two weeks I have it following me for pets and chin rubs
My own cats are awesome and snuggle with me every night

Don't know how, but you pulled this off without making the owner feel worse (a first) I am sick, have 3, and was useful - I knew most, but not all. Ive seen utterly useless ones at 2m views🤷 well done.💟
When i first see my cat, i often just find my hand out to her. Then she can decide where she is touched and how.
I sure am charmed by that pretty baby!
My cat LOVES her back rubbed at the base of her tail. She loves to put her butt in my face and say, "rub it!" lol Awesome video! Thanks.
Tha kyou!very helpful but I already knew some of these 😊.
Hi there! That's fantastic to hear that you're already ahead of the curve on some of these tips. It sounds like your feline friends are in excellent hands! Thanks for watching and for your kind comment. 😺🐾
when you stroke a cat it generates negative -ions , so chill !
Cats equate food with affection, eh? Tell that to Manny2! He thinks my food is his. Especially when I cook his favorite, baked chicken. I eat the skin and offer it to both he and his sister and he steals her piece. So I have to put it in her bowl. I always say to both I’m getting some chicken today! And when I come home Manny2 watches me put it in the oven and he’s there when I take it out and he goes right to my pouch when I come home knowing I have it. I eat the skin but share the rest with my two. My two are smart! They know the words breakfast, lunch and dinner. After morning cuddles I say let’s go get breakfast and my two stampede downstairs to their bowls. At lunch or dinner I ask anyone want lunch? Anyone want dinner? And they both race to their bowls. They even know the word snack.
Oh my goodness, Manny2 and his sister sound absolutely adorable and so smart! 😺 The way Manny2 has such a keen sense for baked chicken is both hilarious and endearing. It's truly amazing how cats can pick up on certain words and routines, especially when food is involved. Their foodie antics and the little vocabulary they've picked up on just show how observant and intelligent cats can be. It seems you've created such a loving and interactive environment for them. Thanks for sharing these delightful stories about your kitties.🍗🐱🐾💕
@@Feline_Fanatics you’re welcome. The cat kids and I are very close.
OK THANKS FOR THE TIPS! !!!!!!!!!
You're welcome! Happy to help! And I love your enthusiasm!!! 🐱🌟🎉
The commentator sounds like a recording that is speeded up. Interesting info though.
I love cats they r so remarkable animals ❤😂
Merci ❤❤❤
Well, "meow-ci" right back at ya! Sending bunches of purrs and whisker tickles your way! ❤️🐾😺
my cat Mellon, howls till you pet him and never gets enough
My cat will lay with me until i twitch foot, cough, sneeze, move. Then he just gets up annoyed meows and fucks off somewhere else
One of my cats (slightly older than 2 years) when she wants to go out comes into my home office (when I am working on my computer), and rubs on the underside of my legs (short legged trousers) rubbing her damp nose on my legs, and often reaches up to my hip area with her paws and claws. She is indicating she wants to go out. I learnt this by following her when she finished her gentle clawing, and she was heading for the back door, and went out when I opened it. Yes, it may well be time to get a cat door and she would probably respond well to having a magnetic collar, but the other cats (one of them certainly) may not respond well to a collar. We have Momma cat, and 4, 2 year old young ones. One of them, we have not been able to trap to take to the vet to be neutered. He is the one that I would not yet be able to "collar". But he is slowly allowing me to pat him at meal times
My kitten still has no slow blinked at me lol. Or at least I haven't seen it. But she does all the other things.
Hey there, it sounds like your kitten is definitely showing signs of affection, even without the slow blink! Keep in mind that every feline friend is unique, and they all express their love in different ways. As she grows, she might start slow blinking. But even if she doesn't, that's perfectly fine. It's all about mutual trust and understanding, and it seems like you two are off to a great start.
amazing
It all depends on the cat, and the bond. When the cat was cleaning itself, I used to point out spots she missed, and tell her. Or the hind leg out stretched, I reached down and tickled her toes... yeah, it got a reaction. The secret is, if you do any teasing follow up with plenty of pets, and love. Then you can read if they want to play or get pets.
"When cats sleep they are at their most vulnerable"
Me: isn't that every animal???
Me too am vulnerable when I sleep. Me cat too?
Haha, absolutely right! Every creature, including us humans, is at their most vulnerable when they're catching some Zs. It's just one of the many things we share in common with our feline friends. 😸💤 And yep, your cat too! Just goes to show, sleep unites us all in vulnerability and dreamland adventures. 🌙🛌
I had a cat lived to be 20 years old.
My son said that her grooming was dishevelled and she was experiencing signs that she was dying.
I loved her very much!
A couple of weeks later my son came and got me, our cat, Lola, was laying in the kitchen floor and meowing, I could tell that she was afraid. About an hour later, she started having seizures. I saw her have 4, my daughter said that she saw more..my husband, my son, my daughter, and myself were all sitting around her, in the floor. She seemed so afraid, and I felt so horrible. I was crying so hard. My son and daughter finally drove her to a vet, to have her put to sleep.
I'm a Christian, and I prayed with her, but I had never prayed with her before.
Do animals understand spiritual matters?
I have been unable to find a video about spirituality and how to connect with cats.
What is the best way to comfort an cat when it is dying slowly and seems scared?
Thank you !
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved cat, Lola, especially after a long and loving 20 years together. It's clear from your story that she was a cherished member of your family, and witnessing her decline and eventual passing must have been incredibly difficult. Your decision to have her put to sleep, made out of love and a desire to ease her suffering, was a compassionate and brave choice. It's moments like these that are so tough, yet they reflect the deep bond and care you shared with her.
Regarding your question about animals and spirituality, this is a topic that varies widely in beliefs and interpretations. Many people believe that animals, like humans, can sense emotions and spiritual energy, which might explain why praying with Lola in her final moments felt significant to you. In terms of comforting a dying cat, the best approach is often to provide a calm, loving presence. Gentle strokes, soft talking, or simply being near can offer them comfort. Creating a peaceful environment, with familiar scents and objects, can also help ease their anxiety. Your presence, your touch, and your love were likely the greatest comfort Lola could have had in her final moments. 🌈❤️🐾
2:39my cat almost groom then i pick him up and petting her then she purr and headbutt, slow blink!
Aww, that's pure love right there! It's the little moments like these that make having a cat so special. 🐱💕
My cat loves me by peeing in my shoe. It's her way of letting other cats know everywhere I go that I'm hers. 😽
I’ve done the “Slow Blink” as a habit to all the neighborhood stray cats for months, and now they see me as one of their own ❤
Also, what does it mean when you’re lying on your back and your 18 lbs cat (not fat, just BIG!) walks up to you and “Loafs” right on your chest? He’ll occasionally lick my cheek or my nose. It’s cute but then I remember I have an 18 lbs weight on my chest and it starts hurting.
He’s doing it right now so it’s difficult to type this comment out.
Your cat might be using you as a source of warmth to feel cozy on, lol. With the licking too he just might be telling you he wants something from you (food, attention, or play) and is waiting for you to get up. Cats have an uncanny way of knowing how to make their "hooman" respond to them. :)
@PurpleLugia Omg. Lol. My kitty lays on my chest *allll the timeee* but today he actually woke me up to tell me it was lunch time. Lol.
I was trying to take a nap on my couch, and all of a sudden, I feel him on me, licking my forehead. So I say, "nooo. Let me sleep. 10 more minutes. You got to sleep, it's my turn now." So I turn to my right side and try to close my eyes again. He then walks on the arm of my couch to the other side of my body and proceeds to walk on my head. 😂😂 He walks on my head when he *really* wants me to get up. I couldn't help but giggle and say, "Okay. Okay. I'm up." And I didn't know what he was asking for *until* I looked at the time, and it was indeed his lunch time *exact time too!* Didn't miss a minute. I was impressed. Like a proud mommy. ❤
❤
Doesn't always work rubbing your nose on theirs, last time I did that my Tom sunk his teeth into my nose 😳
I have a friend whose cat only winks instead of blinks. But then the cat only has one eye so that's probably why. And it's close to impossible to read her tail movements because the tail is only about an inch long.
feed them crab sticks and catnip while purring
After reading that headline. I wanna say to my cat. Look in my eyes what do you see? The Cult of Personality! Lol
I sleep alone in my bedroom. That’s my me time. But if I fall asleep on the he couch, my two sleep on or next to me. Money who loves my lap sleeps on my lap while I watch TV.
Hey there! 😺 It sounds like your cats have found their perfect spots to snuggle up with you, especially when you're on the couch! Money must really adore you to make your lap their favorite resting place during TV time. 📺 Cats sure have a way of making "me time" into "we time", don't they? Thanks for sharing your lovely cat moments with us! 🐾💕
@@Feline_Fanatics they sure do. Oh yeah! Money is the eternal lap cat. My two take shifts. Money is morning and afternoon, and Manny2 likes lap at night. When they were kittens I had both in my lap. But Manny2 is so big no none else can fit in my lap. You’re welcome.
@@lisanidog8178
It sounds like you've got a well-coordinated lap schedule with Money and Manny2 - truly cherished feline companions!
@@Feline_Fanatics you bet on both.😃
I heard that cats get whisker stress if you give them a bowl the size of their head, makes sense to me.
❤❤❤
Good videos.
My two’s favorite is sardines. I eat one can, I split the other between the ‘kids’. They’re big fat sardines too, packed in water. And what Money doesn’t finish, Manny2 will.
Very rare not to watch a cat video that uses the term "Aloof". I shy away from those...
I had an Angora that was a shower bomb!
minnie mouse knows alot about loving cats it seems :D
Kitty!
I don't understand the 6th, I don't have a tail, so how do I show love 😛
Tail language. . . only to realise one of my cats do not have tail
3 / 3
Thanks for watching and for your comment! 🐾 Even without a tail, your cat will still have plenty of ways to express love and affection. Purring, rubbing against you, and blinking slowly are all signs of cat love. 😻
Wow! Even presented by Minnie Mouse !
I purred back to my cat and she meowed at me. 😅
Also my Cat Luna loves to sleep in a bed with me when i already settled down to sleep. (Sometimes she sleeps rigth next to me, sometimes to my feet) and i accept and tolerate it when it happens.
My ten year old cat is a female Manx therefor so she has no tail , so how does this effect her?
Forgot about lick-kisses ❤
👍🏻
