Wanted to watch this, but the squeaky voice was too annoying.

I cannot stand irresponsible people who don't spay and neuter their cats/dogs. Dont get animals if you dont have the means to care for them. I lived 15 miles from where I do for 10 years. NO problems.. never once saw a feral cat or kitten outside. Moved to farmland- there are hundreds of feral cats and kittens here. People trapping them, getting them fixed if they have the means but many dont. Same issue with dogs, even being dumped but not nearly as high of a volume obviously. Its so sad. Moved here 1 year ago with 1 cat, 1 kitten (that I literally spayed the same day we moved here.. every place wanted between $400-$600 that I called.. found a "low cost" for $300!!!) and 1 year later I have 7 cats. Just rescued a kitten with swimmers syndrome. Ill be making an appt to get it fixed long before it even goes into heat. Im not waiting. The litter of kittens we found under our shed 2 months after moving here all went into heat at 4 months. They were tiny babies when I had to get them fixed. . The overpopulation of cats and dogs is disturbing. I wish there were strict guidelines people had to follow in order to be able to breed, something needs to change.

My cat Cleo (part Mao, psrt ?) first arrived at about six months old, he used to cry every time I went into the shower. My guess is that he thought the loudness of the running water was hurting me. But it didn't stop him from playing in the tub at all other times, wet or dry. For some time now he does something odd when I enter the room. I stop at the entrance, and I see him staring right at me, but he will not move a muscle. But as soon as I enter, he shakes his head vigorously about 3 times and coos a partial meow of greeting. What is that about? Is he in a trance?

And one thing i found cats really hate is the sound of a recorder. I mean the musical instrument. Play a few notes and they cannot scurry away and hide quick enough. They are petrified of the sound.

My cats loved lazing on window sills soaking up the sunshine behind the curtains. So that's why they would hate it whenever i found them there! Oops..

As my aunt found out, my cat doesn't like the sound of a CPAP machine! When the air was whooshing through the hose, my cat hissed at it! 😂

Start kissing your cat with closed lips in a a rubbing motion up their cheeks like they do when licking. That is something they will appreciate and reciprocate; and that's usually as close to kissing with a cat that you can get.

Our cat loves two of us best! Chester was adopted at 1.5 years old for my daughter. When she left home for 2.5 years, I became the one. Chester was cared for by me, slept with me, played with me. We had cuddle sessions every night except for the summers: he got too warm. My daughter returned a year ago, and I'm trying to encourage Chester to spend most of his time with her since she needs it emotionally. So he goes back and forth!

I have 4 girls who are now all going into heat at the same time. I have been ill and unable to get them to a vet yet! At first they were all going into heat at different times and this was a nightmare when you're not well either, but like human women they now all go into heat at the same time so now help one another by rubbing themselves against one another and caring for each other, when I'm not around and when I'm there they take it in turn to come to me for cuddles and bottom of tail massages this gentle massage seems to help settle them down all the other girls get very interested in the bottom of that cat(sniffed and licking there) then up comes the next one for her turn. It has helped me bond with all my girls, but hopefully within next month I will be able to get them to a vet for their ops. and hopefully this will help them to enter their new way of life for their 1st birthdays🐱❤️

Thanks for video . my Cats have always dry food guess you can call it free feed. They never eat it all up looks like they are used to it and its there if they want some dry food. They get wet food 1 or 2 times each day to.

I talk to my cat.And they reciprocate .In fact, if i walk into a room where the cat is lying down in some cosy place, she calls out and ensure i notice. Ihave to say a few friendly words before i move out. I feel the tone of the voice and the attention u give intermittently works well to create a bond and they are then so loving and cooperative

Raised voices also applies to dogs, just not all dogs and depends on how they got raised. The different is with raised voices is cats are independant and their personalty favours anxiety alert to possible danger.

So… many of the discussions are categorized as theory, but the evolutionary BS at the end is stated as fact?! I was enjoying the vid until you went off into the weeds. Just stick to what is KNOWN to be true, not and stay away from the pseudoscience.

I got a little girl cat who owned me spayed. About two weeks later, I called her Doctor. Told him he was going to have to do something with Little Bit. He asked me what was up.....I told him she was in heat!!🤣🤣 He couldn't believe that!! She was sitting in window sill caterwauling her head off. These three males were all sitting right next to each other on front lawn, staring up at her. They're all three good guys. All fixed and friendly. Wish I could've gotten a pic of them. Turns out that Doc Steve missed a tiny piece of ovary tissue. About the size of a pinhead. Talk about microsurgery!!!!! That's all it took to put her back into heat.🤣

My kitten was spayed Tuesday ! Two days ago she is 5 months old.

I had a very old lady that had a pouch so low she was swiping the floor with it. XD But she was also a 7kilo lady :D

When I was a kid getting your cat spayed wasn't a thing here in my little town, I lost many cats because they went to mate and never came back, it was very common to heard females calling to mate or males fighting in the night, and most cats here never got too older because of that, some decades ago the spay-your-cat trend started and now most cats are spayed, they live to old age and it is very rare to heard females screaming or males fighting, when I was kid I had to take care of many injured cats with deep cuts and now the fights are very rare, and if they fight because cats are territorial the injures are very minor just few scratches, the spay campaigns were a very good thing for cats here in my little town

So long story short, we should cater to their every need and let them be our masters? Get real, they are JUST PETS.Don't torture goes without saying , but pets should be disciplined otherwise your home becomes a jungle with unruly beasts.

My cat, Nikita, grew up with me. I was like, 3 or 4 years old when we got her. She loves me lots and apparently I'm in her inner circle! She can't sit on my lap, luckily she understands; she is a very floofy fluffer so she is really heavy. We had this communication where if I was lying on my bed and she walked near my bed, I'd roll over and the snuggle session began. I love her so much. Luckily, she's still here!

I don't believe the butt thing, people can think all kinds of things but my cat is trying to get closer to my hand as it's scratching it's back and when I go to the part where the tail starts *not every cat, just my cat, so be careful, don't just assume! he will arch to get closer to my hand, it's like a bear rubbing onto a wood shelf to scratch, it feels good so it tries to get closer to the "source" of what's giving them pleasure. every cat is different. mine is fine with petting sometimes "when he wants it" but if I am just thinking it's my time to pet you, he may snap or scratch out at me, it is what it is. I take all these videos with a grain of salt, you need to be in tune with your kitty......and yes, if I talk to someone, he will come from wherever he is, even if outside and start meowing, and if I keep talking, he will continue to meow and meow and then MEOW until I can't talk over his "telling me you're done talking to them now, be with me". too funny but sometimes frustrating as he is highly particular about what he wants to eat, this, that, no not that, noooo not that, but yes a treat, ok". pay attention to your intuition, these videos are just guesswork for the most part. seriously.

My Mau has had a very noticeable floppy pouch for years. She is now over 20 and has trouble with dry food so I have been feeding her Sheba exclusively. I thought she was loosing weight recently but her pouch has tightened up to her belly. I didn't know that could happen....

This video doesn't apply to my cats. When they do wrong, I let them know... and I'm not the most gentle disciplinarian. Yet when people met my cats, they are so surprised they can just pick them up and that they are so friendly and people oriented. Then people who I know who let them cats do whatever they want, are awful violent cats that never learned human can and will fight too. (never declaw your cat though... like that will 100% make them resent you. i've had so many cats and I could never declaw them. I'd rather them accidentally scratch me or tear up my furniture... even though I wish they would stop that too)
