- I did it yall, first time I've touched anything non/disney in 7 months. I'm still in such an editing slump though, I just don't feel like editing anymore :(
Anyway, to try and get back into it, I made this! The story is simple and I've done it before, but whatever lol Also trying not to be as perfectionist with editing, because I think that's what burnt me out? Trying to get masks perfect, and keeping consistancy is just too much xD Also fuck Omar, worst character to mask, 0/10
Story:
- Lina and Omar are happy happy. Omar is in a band, Lina supports band, yesyes
- Omar sees pretty girl Mocha Chino, Lina gets worried/jealous, oh no
- Lina is comforted by Mocha
- Lina can't stand Omar's band anymore, nono
- Lina leave Omar, and open ending if she gets with Mocha lol

I really like the interpretation that Lina was surrounded by the rock band scene which is not her thing but she puts up with it for Omar. Then when she gets friendlier with Mocha, Mocha shows her more of the artsy side of performing (poems, performance art) and Lina has new opportunities and hobbies she can explore as she and Omar split up
When Mocha stopped to talk to Lina at the bar and I realized where this was going I squealed!! And honestly Mocha needs to be used more, too bad anthros never get used.
beautiful! also you're right, masking omar IS a pain 😂 i chroma key him as often as i can get away with it and then just mask the black sections of his outfit back in
now THIS is advice that would save me from many hours of frustration 😂😂
This is so good! I loved the story and the open ending. I can see Lina ending up with Mocha, or them just being friends. I love it!

Take care of yourself! When i get a art burn out i try reading and doing other creative stuff for awhile. Also helps with inspo!

This is fantastic! I love that you used anthropomorphic characters especially Omar 😍😍I know what it feels like to lose energy for editing and you should do it only when you feel like it. Editing crossovers is awesome but only as long as you enjoy it 💚💚Once again, awesome video and it deserves lots of praise.

Omar never gave Lina any attention so she end up with Mocha! It understandably!
I know that feeling problem with burn out is you throw your old stuff away no matter how good it is. I can't edit but I'm a writer and I've thrown away whole stories I've worked on before suddenly seeing it as sucky work. Yeah looking back some were needing fixing but we're great pieces so so take a break maybe looking back you will see how great it really is even if others didn't tell you. This is a great video though I'm curious about Omar and his world now.
