I was 16 and wanted to be Gwen Stefani. They got me through those teenage years and Gwen showed it was ok to yell, cuss, and get sweaty. Saw them a year later and it still one of the best shows I have ever been to.
This was the first time I heard No Doubt.. I walked into my bedroom, this was on and I was captivated! They opened the door to a whole new genre of music to me. Saw them shortly after when they came to Chicago(technically Tinley, IL) shortly after. I was 13... So young my grandma went with me. Weezer opened. Feel in love with Pinkerton... To this day No Doubt is my favorite band. Thank you for posting this. This is just.. WOW!! Thank you!
@@eazye519 beacon street is up there with Tragic Kingdom imo but agreed, oh and the self titled one. You could argue about that but everything else was shit. (Album wise, the still got hits. )
I wasn't even born, and I'm not even american...but this concert and Radiohead's concert make me want to be there and enjoy all the bands that I like today...this is pure nostalgia for me sorry for the bad english lol
To screen, you would ignore picking up the phone so your home's answering machine would eventually answer and the person calling would be asked to leave a message. In many cases, phones weren't yet equipped to spell out the name or number of the caller. So, if you are ignoring someone, you could just lie and say that you weren't home when the call(s) were received.
Caller ID already existed. You reviewed the caller’s name/number on the tiny pixelated screen to decide what call to answer or ignore. Before that, you just had to answer to know who called.
This was the year that the "Beach House" was in Long Beach, but from this camera angle it looks more like Laguna Beach. Idk? (Just sayin') LBC, don't be mad at me. (It's just an observation)
Back when lip syncing was non existent and you actually needed skill to make good music. I mean I'm not from that generation though I'm gen z but I would like go experience this for myself
I can smell the 90s through my monitor right now
Your 14" monitor? And I mean depth, not screen size. :)
And, let me guess...it smells like teen spirit?
this video smells like camel cigarette smoke (or pot), SPF 20, and polo sport

When mtv was about music
I miss the 90s.
Best era ever. I feel like it was always sunny
Tony Kanal is an absolutely monster on that bass. Very entertaining to watch him play.
He is a big rush and geddy lee fan. Explains why he wasn’t trying to be some average boring bassist.
God, MTV was so fun back then. Hard to remember it was ever like this.
For real. This was the MTV I grew up with. I don't even recognize it today, but at least we can still see these old clips from a "better time" lol
Life was fun in general back then :)
I cry 😭 when here this one ☝️ miss the 90s the most
You just had to be there. Pray we have concerts like this again after quarantine ends.
it’s been over a year 😔
I am from the future. Turns out COVID wasn't much of a thing.
This is a fucking fantastic performance. Tight, fun and Gwen’s control is amazing

Que rica voz de la Gwen, muy muy distinta a otras cantantes, va con el estilo de música que lleva.

They need to do a 30th anniversary tour for Tragic Kingdom in 2025 (yeah, we’re that old, but it’s all right)
Would be soooo keen for this. Tragic Kingdom was No Doubt at their best.
donde tiene tom el dedo de metal ???
What does it mean "Screen phonecalls" in 1996 ? how would do you do it?
Google says " is the act of deliberately ignoring a phone call, often for days on end"
@@tatoxiko ooh i see, now i understand heheh i thought she took pictures of the phonecalls xD

It was called ‘caller id’ and we had answering machines. Oh the 90’s!
