Rudno is something different. She definitely has more stable mentality in second arc of fourth season (too hard to write for me) But in season one she is really to blow up and kick every one. Also Dan didn't have to get her this dirty, my man woke up and chose violence, lmao.
Runo’s rage was definitely a highlight in the show for me, also the episode where they all meet up in real life and Julie keeps smothering Dan was hilarious xD
What Goku and Dan share: - Enjoy brawling; - Seem to be dumb, but actually genius in their own way; - Not eat, but DEVOUR food, cause their stomach is kinda bottomless; - Obtained lots of forms (for himself/his friend, idc). Dan sounded like a girl and it's just really weird. It's a thing that always bothers me about Japanese dubs. Characters have the same age and yet one sounds like a grown man the other sounds like a girl. In japanese Dan's voice is just feminine as runo or julie's voices

Yeah, I did not know they did that. It's not uncommon for anime since Japan is less sensitive to sexual subjects, but I wasn't aware this happened with Julie in Bakugan. I know there are some light adult jokes/references that are in the English dub (e.g., the guys at Runo's Family Restaurant, and the way Myra charms the guards), but it makes me wonder how explicit they were in the Japanese script. Checking the episode in the English dub (Episode 15 - A Duel in the Desert), the scene is kept in, but they took out the "boing" sound effects that emphasized Julie's assets. Julie is still flirty with Dan (much to Runo's annoyance), but the comments aren't as explicitly sexual (e.g., Julie makes a snide remark about Runo's hair instead of her body). Now that I look at it, the dialogue kind-of mismatches the scene, since Julie's posing doesn't make as much sense with the new dialogue, but I also didn't notice it until I read what the Japanese text originally said. This is a kids show though, and the characters are kids, so by all accounts they did a decent job at keeping the subject matter the same, even if it is toned down.
