There are quite a few boat ramp video channels out there, but this is the only one I'm subscribed to. The commentary, complete with sarcasm when appropriate, can't be beat.

Drives me crazy to see the never-ending dock line rodeo and circus at these ramps. Unless you're solo, drop off your driver, back away from the dock, drive on when the trailer is in the water. Not only do these people waste their own time, they are in the way, and unnecessarily delay anyone who may be waiting. Unbelievably rude.

Went to take the boat out yesterday got to the ramp and immediately got waved down by a guy at his car telling me that another guys boat had floated out and was wanting me to help him get it. I said sure. Got to where he was and asked him what happened and he said âI tied it up but my rope brokeââŠ.mind you, it was a very calm day on the water. So always make sure you tie the boat up properly.
I was on break at work took a sip of my coffee and you said â heâs has a spear, maybe they are going whalingâ I spit all my coffee out and laughed for about 2 minutes

Good Evening All: CCC, You did it again with another great video & the narration was spot on. CCC you didn't get the memo. For pontoon vessels only they can park head in & if the pontoon floor goes under the dock that's the new secure parking feature so you don't need a rope. That young female on the Murderer Hornet that splashed the people on the boat by the dock was very rude & not called for. Besides she was in a no wake zone. If I was a policeman I would have given her a ticket for a no wake zone violation along with anything else I could get her for. Some people have no maners or courtesy. I'll be bare boat chartering a 38 ft sailboat this summer, I'm so glad that one is in a marina so I don't have to much problems with idiots at a boat ramp. Yeah I'm a credit card captain at that point, luckily I do have loads of experience with boats.

@6:48 What a crew! I am surprised they are not all wearing mask's. Are they docking, wait trailering ,wait. What's the Capt doing? They seriously need a Bow-Line. Then find a Captain. Did anyone aboard that vessel have any idea what they were coming to shore for? Do they carry a stepladder or wait til they get home to disembark vessel?

The spear Is something used on a flats boat to move around in shallow water without engaging the engine. It's normally used when fishing to get closer to your desired area where you might not have enough depth to troll or use the main engine. I don't think it would be of much use on a pontoon boat so I'm not sure why they have it.
First boat watching channel Iâve subscribed to. I like the other guys comment about you being the Bob Ross boat videos. Plus I like the gulf coast Iâm a little north from you my moms just east of you.

what is with loading the boat in the middle of the space instead of along side the dock?
So much easier to just tie off to the dock and put the trailer right in front of the boat. Walk it up to the hook and reel it in...
I watched a guy at the ramp today rip his forward bunk off and chew his hull all up. I stopped because my boat was loaded and helped him reattach his bunk and load his boat.
All good got keys back later that day with the magnet lesson learned... Now have 3 float on truck keys...

Captain, for as busy as this ramp is, why don't they have an officer there? Or for the thrill of it (for the volunteers), they could have seasoned volunteers offer to be there during peak weekend hours, and give them a safety vest and a walkie talkie.

My FiL dropped my keys in the water at the dock. Fortunately Iâm quite at home under water and stayed down til I found them. Crisis averted.

The most stressful part of any boat ramp is people standing around watching and taking video hoping to post a screw up on CZcams.

my wife dropped mine in the water, there was a 1 inch gap between the boat and dock and she hit it perfect. Key was ok but $100 for a new fob

Biggest mistake I see boaters making while trying to dock and trailer their boats is that they overcompensate, too much throttle, or they just donât take their time. Donât be rushed, donât worry about other people unless you might hit their boat.
Still so crazy to me that they donât have some kind of rescue rope attachment for keeping trucks from going in the water and also that boat trailering technology is basically unchanged since the beginning of time.

It never ceases to amaze me how utterly "unconscious" people are when returning to the boat dock like they figure they will meet valet service equipped with docking lines & special knowledge. Geez it is common sense that isn't COMMON anymore, like common courtesy.
