The song "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson (Més Fort, in Catalan) talks about the power of perseverance to overcome difficult moments, as well as the strength that being alone offers. The chorus emphasises that difficult events in our lives make us stronger.
The Tanxugueiras are from Galicia and usually sing in Galician, (co-official language of the Autonomous Community of Galicia together with Castilian, almost always designated Spanish) but in this version they sing in Catalan (co-official language in Catalonia, together with Spanish), to collaborate in “La Marató”.
“La Marató” is an annual charity event held every year on the Sunday before Christmas. It is broadcast live on TV3 (the main TV channel in Catalonia, Autonomous Community of Spain) to raise funds for medical research.
