I like the look of the flying wraiths, but the sound is maybe too loud for me. The eyes in the corn maze and the popping up scarecrows remind me of Disney’s Haunted Mansion. Points for that!

    Halloween Villages,
It's crazy, I thought I would absolutely want this piece. It didn't initially strike me at first glance, but after a few looks, it started to grow on me. But then the more I kept seeing it, I started to feel like Lemax's heart might not really be into this one, like they we're saying, "Well, they asked for a corn maze, so I guess we should give them a corn maze," then recycled some ideas and threw one together. This was the same thing feeling I got with last year's ride, the Dungeon of Terror. After getting it, I realized how painfully generic and slapdash it was, and that its main appeal was, "It's Big." And when you couple that with it's ridiculous and over-inflated price, it was almost insulting. Suffice it to say, I returned it. It's in fact, the only piece of Lemax's I've ever returned due to not liking it.
I do think the A-maze-ing Pumpkin Patch has a couple of charms, like the resurrected the evil eyes in the corn row, which I actually have the old corn row piece and always wanted to see it redone, because it uses a non-traditional adapter that only works for it, and maybe a select few other pieces, I'm not sure. But luckily, there is a smaller piece this year with the evil eyes in the corn and I pre-ordred that one.
The popping up scarecrows are also cool, but just not enough to really make this piece shine for me, especially for its hefty price tag. Holy Moley! The price really turned me off as this is a $50 to $70 piece in my opinion, regardless of the weight and size. When I think about pieces like the Ghoulish Gourd, which was cheaper and had real character for days, the A-maze-ing Pumpkin Patch just seems blah in its wake and I think the pricing is getting out of hand when the charm isn't there to match.
Now I've been wrong before, seeing a piece in person has changed my mind, so I'm hoping to see this in a Michaels store and see if the magic is really there.
Appreciate you as always and thank you for showing this piece off! Looking forward to the next review!

Thank you for watching video game vegas! And I understand your criticisms, this piece may not be everyone's cup of tea. I think they did a great job here but then again, I love my farm pieces so perhaps I'm a little biased lol

      Halloween Villages,
I with you on the farm pieces, that's why this one was instantly intriguing to me. They may not all be winners to me, but I'm glad you liked this piece. I am also one of the rare people who didn't care for the Mad Pumpkin Patch and was so happy that they repurposed some of that for a piece I love, the Eerie Go Round.
I absolutely LOVE Jack's Pumpkin farm and the Ghoulish Gourd. The Jack-O-Lantern is my second favorite classic Halloween character, second only to the Skeleton.
Thanks as always for the content and looking forward to the next video!

Nice review! This is one that I really wish I liked. It comes down to its execution. A little too goofy for me. Love the call backs to retired pieces including the glowing eyes here. The scarecrow animation appears to reference the hedge maze animation in the retired lemax piece Dark Haven Lodge. I wish the humans in the maze were removable. I cant unhear southpark voices and homer simpson in the voice acting. So close but not quite. My village will still be missing its corn maze 🌽🌽🌽

Dark Haven Lodge did not have quick pop up figures, like a ridiculous jack in the box, as it had the two slowly moving figures behind the bush gliding up and down. It doesn’t even register as a likeness.

@@jonniereynolds7915 OK. That's fine. Personally I see this animation as a sped up homage to that retired piece.

The consistent popping up clicking sound is atrocious. And the pumpkin Elf is ridiculously abhorrent. This plastic piece is the final proof how lemax ST is no more.
