Isn't it funny how we can all watch the same thing but see different things? For me, Bertie is the one who comes off as draining. Anytime you're in any type of relationship, platonic or romantic, and one of you is always "handling or going through stuff" like Bertie, it leads to people around you taking up the same attitude as Tuca. They always have to be "happy" and "carefree" because there isnt enough room for them to have moments when they can be vulnerable or sad because they have to always reserve those for the Berties in their lives. I felt Tuca when she vomited her feelings in the cups and there was one about how she's held back from having a relationship by Bertie. It isn't just relationships, it's almost everything else!!! You can't really be as spontaneous as you want because you're always trying to figure out if the Bertie in your life will be okay with it. They make you stay one way because you have to be the "stable" one to calm them when anxious, comfort them when sad and even celebrate with them when they're happy EVEN if you yourself are experiencing a low moment. I love Tuca and wish her Figgy would get his shit together so they they can be together too ... She deserves someone who will take care of her and let her be the Bertie in their relationship for once.

You'll mostly be watching an asshole ,predator, manipulative, alcoholic horse who can't let go of the past and brings others down doing a bunch of wacky shenanigans with some side plots if they're included. But trust me the show is good tho lol, despite the "main character/protagonist " being a total asshole.

Can we agree on the unpopular opinion that Tuca would have a healthier relationship with Bertie in a poly relationship than being in a relationship with Figgy? Yeah, this comment should age just fine.
As much as I would love for Tuca to have a romantic relationship with her BFF, and to see if Tuca and Speckle would become best friends if they were both with Birdy; she's not Bi. Having a friendship that would be great as a relationship, but it's impossible to make work because of things like incompatible orientation, is something that tons of people deal with all the time. I think the show will have a lot more narrative value exploring this then if we could have a instant happy ending with the main trio making a cute poly group.
