My favorite strategy for panic attacks is the 54321 method. List five things you can see, four things you can touch, three things you can hear, two things you’ve tasted, and one thing you can smell. You can really do these in any order you want, but the counting and thinking are the most important bits.

I also heard that adding positive qualifiers to each of the things you list can also help!
It’s like the reverse of how Bertie associated the red food with something that stressed her out.
