@@Knight-Orthodox Its function is not to make the monitor brighter; that would be really stupid. It is a replacement for a desk lamp. Unlike a desk lamp, it does not occupy space on the desk.
These are for people who like to work in rhe dark.
I like to work in the dark but it does hurt the eye if it's too contrasty so a soft ambient light and this is specially designed not to dazzle you with its light. add a soft background light as well feels better on the eyes.
@@zbatevp-vlogs610 I work in dark ambient, any light on your screen worsens the situation. It's much for your eyes to put on a yellow filter and if you need any light just use table lamp pointed away from you. Much better technically and estheticly.
Or if you hate lamps use some led stripes, but don't put any color just white looks good (in my opinion)
