, Mercedes-AMG is sharpening its product portfolio and redefining the entry-level
performance coupé segment. The sporty, elegant two-door model combines the best of two worlds: the agility
and sportiness of the C-Class with the space and status of the E-Class. The 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line engine
with double charging via an exhaust gas turbocharger and an electric additional compressor has been
thoroughly modified and produces now 330 kW (449 hp). It provides a maximum torque of 560 Nm (with
over-boost of 600 Nm for 12 seconds). The integrated starter generator briefly supplies an additional 17 kW (23 hp) of power and 205 Nm of torque. It also feeds the 48-volt on-board electrical system. Other technical features of the new model include the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission and the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive.
Typical visual identifying features of a coupé are the long hood embedded in the front end with two powerful power domes. The strongly sloping windshield and the elongated roof that slopes towards the rear also reference this. The passenger cell, which is set far back, leads to the sporty, short rear via the rear window,
which is also flat.

The car looks good, but it is not a M4 beater, maybe price wise. The real competator is the M440i and it is started at 76.000€. Sound is not great every Golf GTI is louder.

I currently have an 2022 M440i and I just custom built and ordered the CLE 53. Prices in the US still have not been released. Production date of May 30th. Thank you for your videos and information! I also regret I selected Night Package 2 now seeing it. Still excited regardless.

Performance exhaust isn’t available any more, thanks to our (green) european politicans 👍😬😢 noise regulations too high

Our 2019 e53 amg is much louder engine note wise and pops and bangs too, it's interesting how the emotion start doesn't seem to really work on this one. Ours does little pops and everything on emotion start and goes up to like 2.5k revs.

@@Henri343 There has only been speculation recently that the V8 will be used again. But it hasn't been confirmed yet. The 4-cylinder was previously planned. But we'll see. I would be very happy if the V8 came back and I think many AMG fans feel the same way.

and its not mercedes fault, its just all the new fucked restrictions manufacturers have to have now due to noise and shit. i think this I6 engine could sound great if it has a better exhaust with no muffles etc..

@@gabrielcropano805 maybe it depends on the engines, how much emission as stock they produce, Db stock and then after that they decide what they need to do to muffle the sound or de emission the fumes idk man, BMW just does something different, maybe its also just AMG that doesn't want to produce loud and obnoxious cars anyone, I wish Mercedes AMG sounded like it used to sound.

I don't know when a Mercedes will realize that people don't like AMGs just for the image, AMGs were known for their sound, now having an AMG or a Tesla is almost the same. Mercedes is losing its identity. I'm very disappointed with the news amgs.😢

Standard Night -Package is replacing all the chrome parts on ; FRONT and REAR Bumper, as well the Frame (surrounding the windows) + black rear mirror caps.
the Night Package 2 replaces the chrome Panamericanagrill and the chrome AMG / CLE 53 badges , as well as the Merc-Star and the turbo- Sidebadges into BLACK chrome ..
there is no Option to keep the all black Badges in black chrome , if you take only the Standard night package because you don't want the black Panam-grill !!

Good looking car... but the sound is very muted, the previous one sounded much more natural.

So glad I decided to go for the E53 AMG Coupe - the start up and engine sound on the E53 is far far better than this.
The Killed the 4zyl 63 Version instead they gonna Delay the 63 Release and put an mild hybrid 4,0 v8 in it

This ride has nothing on the BMW M5. But I Love the Option packages on AMG better than BMW because you can get a fixed Spoiler option and exterior carbon fiber options are way better than most to all Luxury brands in America
It’s clearly got a soft limiter on it like most cars now but there are simple mods that will get you more emotion for a small cost if you choose.
IMO it does look better than an M4 and I do like the M4 but this beats it, tech wise it’s loaded and the price is what you’ll pay for a car like this, the 63 will eat an M4 but it’s a 4 pot M139 engine with electrification so I think I would settle for this V6 don’t get teary eyed the V8 has gone!

Dont get why people call this "the fake amg". C class had a V6 in amg in like 2001, and that had 350 hp. So it has 100 hp more than a "real amg" from 20 years ago, and its considered an amg-lite. It a perfect blend between power, daily usability and price.

Mercedes doesnt make money on enthusiast's but rather regular people who mostly buy entry-mid level cars, and want some part of that AMG sweet sauce. Im just saying that I would get if they were bashing merc if this car was slow, but in what world is a 450hp car slow or not a real sports car.
All AMG should be carbon. Not just regular black.
As a Mercedes fanboy Mercedes are getting out of hand with their engines interior quality and price the price for this one doesn’t justify for a 53 maybe if it was a 63 and could actually compete with an m4, the V8 was iconic and even in the c63se if they did add a inline 6 hybrid it wouldn’t be as bad and there would be sales on the car
