    KASHMIRI CHILLI - 20
    REGULAR HOT DRY CHILLI - 10
    CINNAMON STICK - 1"
    CLOVES - 10
    PEPPERCORN - 10
    CUMIN SEEDS - 1 TS
    CORIANDER SEEDS - 1 TS
    BLACK MUSTARD SEEDS - 1 TS
    TURMERIC POWDER - ½ TS
    GINGER - 2 "
    GARLIC - 10 CLOVES
    VINEGAR - ½ CUP
    GREEN CARDAMOM - 5
    FRESH COCONUT - 2 TBS
    ONION - 1 (LARGE)
    VEG OIL - 5 TBS
    SALT - 1 TS (AS NEEDED)
    TAGS (IGNORE)

    Thank you Chef Imran. I made something like this a few times now.
    Oddly I bought dry coconut because I noticed a different taste in the restaurant version, thank you so much for your time.

    I just put this together. Exceptional Imran, thank you.
    I did only use 3 cloves. This is the only difference. I find they overpower many dishes, that said, I may add 2 when cooking the main meal.
    That's now 2 I have followed, I'm more than happy with results. Next quite likely, are your onion bahjis!
    Note: I did add the ginger and garlic, plus spices to the onions when sautéing. Either way, TOP recipe, I've tried around 30. This is TOP 🍷🍻🥇

      Thank you very much! Yes you are right about the cloves. They can be strong and overpowering for some people so it’s good that you put 3 since you could always add more to your dish later.

      @@imranskitchen7005 Thank you very much for replying Chef. I know cloves are important, I just need to get the balance right for me I guess. I even had 'salt' in a garam masala the restaurant gave me. I have a lot to learn. Be well.

    It would be helpful to use weight measurements. What you call "one onion" looks like at least 3 or 4 onions to me. So now I'm confused as to how much onion is in there...
