OKAY TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO MAN
What information needs to be added to the question, Who made it? and When was it made? What do you do about that? It's not optional.
@@isatoixi1706 GIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE LORD 🙏 JESUS CHRIST TODAY AND ADD THAT
This is so insanely helpful, thank you so much!!!
Glad to hear that, Elana! You're most welcome!
As an artist this makes me sad.
Yeah it's fucked up. I'm broke as fuck but I'm not gonna use this method, imma just keep posting my art till I get good lol
Everyone make sure your art channel is not free to use. It's just so wrong.
@@TheCapedArtist that's so stupid "I'm gonna pass up an opportunity to make loads of money because i can" is pretty much what your saying
Use it u can sell ur work stop letting things stop u
Great now anyone who has not one percent of creative and their body can be an artist because of artificial intelligence. And the worst part about it all is that they can even copy someone else’s work who is actually creative copy someone else’s work and make money off of it that’s sad
This was awesome. You earned a subscriber!
Thanks Alok!
That was so precise, on point info. Totally helpful, thanks a lot!

Thanks, dear ❤
Very helpful, thank you so much for taking the time to create this easy to follow video
Have you done this yet
Beautiful
Thanks for this video
you're welcome!
hey loved every second of your content ! I didn't quite understand how to bring traffic to YT shorts though (I'm a noob)
Here's what I understood. You pick how to paint flowers short video that is getting traffic. Then you piggyback onto their viewers and add your own link.
So I have followed this video and here are my findings.
Firstly there are additional stages of connecting your ETSY account to you Printfy account, such as adding a card so they can take a payment and the fact you have to create one listing on ETSY before your Printfy product can replicate across to ETSY.
Secondly, delivery to Europe from Printfy is £21, what customer is ever going to pay that ontop of the £30+ the canvas will cost?
no way i really thought this was a good idea there always is a catch but maybe put the art work abit cheaper then ??
@llJxmiell the canvas costs £30 from Printfy. So if you want to make a profit you have to sell for more than £30, and the profit you keep is the difference. If you lower the price below £30 then you are making a loss, Printfy charge you £30 to make your canvas
Are you sure that there is no copywrite problems with using other's youtube videos ? Even if they are listed as "Creative Common" ?
Regarding using Videos for promoting the Art youtube cancelled an old channel I had for cat T-shirts for verbally directing users in my video to go my POD store. is there way to avoid that problem?
i loved the punch lines. Made me hit the like button😁
Awesome!
@@Jon_Ryan Ahaha😄
After auto enhance , photo looks blurry, is that how it supposed to be?
Thank you great video! It’s simple as that some want to make it harder . Just do it! Can we edit a few things on flower to make it our own and not exactly how the original is?
You can do whatever you want with art that's in the public domain.
Exactly people on here want things too easy and complaining without trying it out first
great video but it would be good to know more about which dpi to use as well as pixel dimensions / ratios etc. for example there's another video on youtube about printify POD posters in which the required pixel dimensions for a 20" x 30" poster are approx. 7000 px X 10,000 px. I don't want to sell posters on etsy if the dpi and pixels are not correct and result in a blurry print.
hi,i have tshirts store on etsy,it is good to ad to this store also wall arts?
Can't see what button you're pressing to crop it. I need to know how to crop in this app. I think printify has had an update since you made this video. Please help.
Thank you for the wonderful video. It is a lot of great information. I am excited to give this a try. You should create a print-on-demand course, you are an excellent teacher. Ciao
GIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TODAY
Thanks Michelle! I will consider in the future
Extremely clear video. Thanks. Do you specify the Etsy listing as physical or digital? Assuming physical only, as listing price is higher than digital.
Thanks. I've only tried it as physical so far.
Per Etsy, their terms of service state that if you're using print on demand you must be the maker/designer of the artwork. Is updating the image quality of public domain art enough to operate within terms?
GIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TODAY
Did you get an answer elsewhere?
Yes, as long as you are making a noticable difference to the print
@@tylerplatt185how u know??? Like u know for a fact (all seriousness) and do u know if we should give the people cred when listing or just list it
@@yaboii6646 It is in the public domain currently so you don't actually have to do anything and you can list it without credit if you want to, but by editing the picture, if the original artist wanted to remove it from public domain because you have edited it it is your original piece not theirs
The paintings from the shop at the beginning of your video were textural acrylic paintings on canvas, NOT a print on canvas or paper.
I don't think that Jon was meaning that the ' actual ' painting is being the one that we would be selling, because it would literally be impossible to do.
Rather, he may be suggesting that we would have aquired a PRINT of the painting. This is what we would be working with.
Hi Jon.. which supplier do you recommend on printify to source Physical canvases? If anybody else reading this comment has a recommendation, I would greatly appreciate that. Thanks ahead of time!
Good info. Trini?
So when someone buys a painting on your Etsy, the other website automatically makes and ships it for you?
Yes :) You can integrate print-on-demand production partners like Printful and Printify with your Etsy store.
Great video, you have Trini roots?
Hey thanks! I am from Trinidad.
But what if you don’t have a CZcams channel to make CZcams shorts…what other ways can you direct traffic? Great video btw 👍🏽
Good question! Similar to youtube shorts, you could try Tiktok. But my experience is with Shorts
Thanks! @JonRyan great video 👍learnt a lot appreciate it!!
Awesome! Glad it was helpful to you.
What amount should you charge to make a profit on the Canva print
that the customer buys through Etsy ?
Can you sell this on Amazon kdp too
Jon, I'm just wondering if you have a more recent video on this subject? I noticed that this video was created 2 years ago.
Hey! I'll work on an updated version to this.
Is printify painting or printing? Because if I bought something that said painting and I got a print I'd be pretty annoyed.
If it's a print of a painting, you can just disclose that in your description. Prints of paintings have sold as prints for decades. Just make it very clear that it's a print.
😂🤣🤣hahaha yes Printify has a factory of indian children that paint by hand with a brush everyday! Those are all unique paintings man!
If Printify had to pay someone to paint each one of those by hand, it would cost a freaking fortune mate
Are etsy links allowed in youtube videos?
great video but why skip the most important parts of adding a listing?
I noticed no resolution info when you enhanced and saved it. What resolution should this be for print on demand??
300 DPI is best and won't be blurry.
Also, always save and download your art as a PDF, (you can do jpg if you want) because when the costumer takes it somewhere to print it (or even prints it on their home copier) it will print the image as a PDF; it your art file is also PDF, the colors will print more vibrantly.
Didn't you leave out the part of having to pay to make a listing on Etsy's saturated market place?
Do we have to market for audience or the site will show the work for us?
The site will do some marketing. However, I recommend you market for yourself using the CZcams shorts method like I mentioned later in the video or any other organic traffic method like Pinterest
What would u name it and describe it as tho….
Should we give the artist credit?
can you sell the free pictures as a digital download?
yes all public domain files are free to use under the 'creative commons license'
The guilt on his face choosing to say he is an artist @ 6:15 😂
i am a professional photographer and i need the organic traffic ib my etsy i hope these shots will help me
Hey did it work for you?
hay can we use TikTok instead of CZcams shorts
Certainly!
what will happpen if people want a refund
THIS IS EXTREMELY MISLEADING.......... THERE IS A LOT OF MISINFORMATION... PEOPLE WILL HAVE THEIR SHOP REPORTED ASAP IF THEY FOLLOW YOUR INSTRUCTIONS
This is for people who don't have creative talent.
Hi Trinidadian
Hey!
This is so genius yet so evil lol
How the normal artist can sell the real painting on Etsy then,.. with the real price ??!!!!
Bad idea. Anyone can upload those images. There's no demand for hundreds of sellers selling exactly the same things.
Bad Idea you say? I think it's worth a try for some people...doesn't cost any money. In this method, the demand doesn't really matter because we're not trying to compete on the site for rankings at this point...only from youtube traffic directly to the product we're selling.
@@Jon_Ryan People will waste their time.
Nobody can "compete" when everybody is uploading the same images.
And there's you and another dozens youtubers teaching the same thing: they will create at least hundreds of people uploading the exact same thing.
Do you know why some metals are more expensive? Because they are rare.
@@ricnyc2759 I agree that there are hundreds of YT channels teaching this and the market is saturated BUT if you can get traffic to your products it doesn't matter if the market is saturated. You can't just put them on etsy and expect sales, you have to send people there, make an Instagram, make a tiktok account, make Pinterest boards of your products. Build a following and direct people to your products, put your shop in your bios, just tell people directly to check out your shop in your posts. Pinterest works amazing for me, you make a board of say sunset art, for every 1 of your products you put 3 of other art from somewhere else and then anytime someone views the other ones, yours will start to be recommended for them and they click it if they like it, simple. Yes the market is saturated but if you do it right you can still do well.
@@bvshbaby3216 can you explain the pinterest method further? You said for every one of your product you put 3 of other art somewhere else what do you mean by this?
@@mycrazylife408 create a board, post your item then go and find similar images and post those. For every one of your products you post 3 of others
It doesn't work this way. It is a sort of fraud.
Sorry but…this Is a scam for the buyers 😮
not at all. check out fine art america where you will find hundreds of thousands of images of antique artwork no longer in copyright for POD. many are the same work but different sellers do varying degrees of restoring and / or enhancing these dead artists' works to keep them alive and enjoyed by millions of people at affordable prices. I have spent 1000's of hours digitally restoring otherwise unsaleable and undesirable antique artwork. They sell depending on the subject matter and quality of restoration / enhancement. Restoration of antique art is an art in itself.
