Honestlys I would love to see a Genshin character in overwatch (and by this I mean alternate universe where said gungeon character was actually created by the OverWatch steps and not created by hoyoverse)
Like a character that's been designed to fit into OverWatch, but has the same ability structures as they're getting counterparts, like he OverWatch variants of Raiden Shogun that has similar aestheticss to genji (cuz sword), but is a debuff oriented support and has the ability to help recharge her allies ults as her passive while also dealing periodic tick damage as an off-field support, retreating into her realm-of-euythemia to apply debuffs to enemies before re-entering the battle, dealing sub-par dmg only to channel all the accumulated dmg done by allies to enemies targeted with her "eye of stormy judgement" and realizing her sword in a set-pocket dimension -area, anyone entering the field would face wrath....
Ok now I'm just sounding crazy, either way, I would like more unique support characters.
I wonder if Orisa's Fortify blocks the grab? Because we've already seen the Orisa/Symmetra Terra-Port combo, but if she can be pulled while in Terra Surge then that's gonna make it a lot easier to pull off, because the teleporter positioning has to be perfect whereas Lifeweaver can just yank her directly.
I'm not sure as the ability only applies with teammates. Maybe it will be the same if she didn't have fortify active, but that's just me
@@merrickslocum9581 What I mean is the allied Lifeweaver getting into the fray and then pulling his Orisa in as she charges. It's risky, but - key word here - IF it works then it could make for an incredibly powerful combo, because as mentioned, it would be easier to pull off than Terra-Port

As a Bastian main this is going to be my favorite healer from the elevator lilypad alone

I think this is the first support that is just full utility support, like his healing is fine at best, and his damage is ok, but his utility is through the roof.
I feel like there are lots of parts of his kit that needs to be tweaked a bit like one thing is that his pull ability should give the ally protection and then let them press a button to be pulled to life weaver (like thresh from lol) overall I think his kit is interesting and I'm excited for a new support

@@Star_Rattler this is a good idea! It’s hard though when you consider that he’d probably be pretty far away from him and you’d probably have to be aiming at him. But it’d still be better than nothing for sure
Yeah or sym’s tele. Like you don’t just walk onto the tele and end up at the other end, you just have to press a button so you voluntarily pass through it. Not sure why this wasn’t on the devs’ mind when designing LW
@@officialgrindr The issue I see with this is that if you're in a situation where you're getting chased down, low hp, etc. you'd need time to notice and react to his shield, and so the immortality would have to last at least a second. The temporary immortality can be broken since it'll just be a zarya bubble that can't be broken or penetrated with over a second of invunrability, meaning people will use it more for aggressive usage rather than defensive. Also much like Thresh, the support will have to rely on their teamates actually knowing how he works to know what is going on when being pulled. I think just being able to cancel mid-cast is a much better solution instead
I hope that they do some sort of indicator on Lifeweaver's model about the weapon change
I feel like the 2nd support they release may be more on the healing side to balance this hero... this is going to be an interesting season... the platform is also good for getting the other teams ults out of the way like will it help negate reapers ult or throwing a ranging Winston into the air... Maybe prevent an Orisa ult like in the game trailer .
Reapers ult functions as a sphere in every direction so he’ll still get hit
@@kenyonlovett9597 I guess that depends on the plattforms ability to block bullets. If nothing goes through you could lift the reaper and stand in the dead angle
No, I'm tired of healing supports, I want supports that debuff enemies, or supports that are purely based around adding buffs that don't rely purely on healing, like speed boost, or armor fortification, even those those things sound busted, I can still hope for for future non-healbots.
i feel like lifeweaver is more of a support healer rather than a dps healer because the only damage output he’s getting is from his primary fire, other than that it’s repositioning abilities and heal abilities
@@cloberlobster2276 we don't need debuff/buff healers until we get a better spread of ACTUAL healers that aren't just spicy DPS
I like his design and conceptually he's really cool but in practice I think he might be more rewarding to players who have amazing game sense and mechanical knowledge, simply because playing him is going to be a test of how much you're paying attention to everything around you to know when to use what ability

I can’t wait to play him simply because his character design is so pretty. The concept of using his abilities shaped like a Lotus, is very pretty looking.
The platform can also block doorways when placed correctly (like when the platform can move but not much)

The realization of the Ana combo blew my mind! She can finally get to more unlikely high ground like those on Anubis with the help of a support partner, or even just get a temporary high ground anywhere. Seems like you can also save somehow who got slept in a few diff ways.
Wonder what happens if you try to pull a charging Reinhardt.
I think a good way to balance the pull and prevent trolling is by giving the “pulle” the ability to disconnect whenever they want, minimising the troll potential

I really like his abilities. No annoying, absurd abilities from the looks of it. Cool mobility. Requires a lot of coordination. But most of all balanced healing abilities.

Yeah, I like a lot of his abilities and he will probably take a lot of skill to play however i do think his healing is low so the second support will be forced to be swapped to a more traditional healer mercy for example. Which I feel like he should have a bit more healing. Death grip is gonna be absurdly good or bad. The throw potential is crazy Icl 🤣

Everyone is using healing as such a handy cap that when people play something else they piss their pants and bitch the whole game. I’ll play zen or lucio play out of my mind and people will bitch AT ME bcz they can’t crutch on heals to get shit done. These no skill retards are ruining the game by forcing heal bot and it’s PISSING ME OFF. All support characters aside from lucio, zen, brig need a massive healing nerf so these dumb fucks can’t crutch healing and so other support players learn how to fucking play the game instead of heal bot.

Andrew out here putting more thought into a character's kit than the devs.
I doubt this would be doable, but I think his wings(?) should be a secondary hurtbox, where he can still be hit, but damage is reduced. Like Orisa's horns or Ashe's hat.

I am worried about the troll potential, but they can have it were if your teamate doesn't want to get pulled they can jump out of it or something like that, or just make it impossible to pull someone off the map like the ability gets an invisible wall to it. They doesn't change the fact that there is going to be a lot of trolling with it, but hey 20 sec cooldown and only 1 person. People will definitely save more than troll
I wish his legitimate heal didn’t have the slow and went in bits of like 50 > 75> 100 but that could be OP so maybe a 50 > 65 > 80 possibly

I like this character, I think the only thing they need to do is increase his base healing from 65 to maybe like 80 at max as it does take a bit to charge up but apart from that I think he’s awesome 😁😁😁
What you said about there not being enough control for the platforms is a big functionality concern of mine. Idk about y’all but my teams seem to have very little gamesense half the time, so I just have very little hope that they’ll be coordinated enough to ever use it in numbers. That or my friendly Lifeweaver will just use it for himself and I, as an ally who’s just trying to get to high ground, will be left out to dry

No clue, Blizzard said we will get a new main heal and he is definitly not a main heal. But Rammatra was also called a "tempo tank" before release :D
I really think the E should be held and that the targeted teammate must confirm for the pull to activate with the interact button or something. I'd rather have a learning curve coordinating with my team when to pull than being pulled off the map because my teammate is toxic, especially since the ability also has such a long cooldown meaning it might not be ready again for the next teamfight.
