I had to pause the video to say...Thank You! I was watching a kid do his review (bless his heart) but he was all over the place with banter that was not useful so I skipped to your video of 17 minutes to see if you might be more informative and efficient with your presentation. You are. Just ordered the Canon EOS T1i 500D from eBay and know nothing about DSLRs except that they always seemed intimidating. At 65 years old I'm looking for a new hobby and along with collecting autographs, press photos of celebrities, and old concert tickets (I have a unused Queen ticket from 1978) I find myself interested in photography.
Thank you for opening the door for me.
    Now, back to your video.
    🙂👍🏽

Thank you Daniel. This was exactly what I was looking for: a basic explanation of this camera. I'm going to use this camera to take pictures of birds and learn all about them.

Awesome video Daniel, answered all of my questions. I would suggest looking into getting a studio arm to clamp to a desk or table for an overhead shot. That way you can use two hands for your demonstrations. Thanks for the video!

Do you fix this camera? I have one and can not find anyone to do the work to get it working again. I loved it new and would like to get it up and going again for hiking nature shots

Thanks for this video! Q. If I have a lense that is "EF" vs. "EFS", am I not using the right one for my Rebel T1i? TIA!

Good afternoon... Friend, it is possible with an Android cell phone via cable and an app to control the camera screen and trigger video recording, it would be transforming the cell phone into a mobile monitor. It's possible ? If possible, could you guide me on how to do it? Grateful

How do you make the light come on that on the front of the camera come on when taking pictures

Are you talking about the flash? There is a button that opens the flash along the left of the camera. If the picture taking mode supports the flash - it will be used.

You need to keep your video camera on the subject you are discussing I noticed several times you were talking but your video camera was filming the fabric underneath the camera you were trying to dicuss. Not a criticism hopefully it may help you
