- Trooper's Narrative:
On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at about 5:35 pm, I was patrolling the area of I-430 and Stagecoach Rd. when I observed a
silver Toyota sedan (bearing AR LPN ATT02H) driving northbound on I-430. After running the vehicle tags through ACIC/NCIC,
I learned that the registered owner, Bradyn Crump, showed to have an active warrant on file. The vehicle exited I-430 onto
Stagecoach Rd and failed to complete its turn before the light turned red at I-430 off-ramp and Stagecoach Rd.
I activated my emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle; the vehicle slowed down and passed multiple safe
places to stop before stopping in the right westbound lane of Stagecoach Rd. When I exited my vehicle, I commanded the
suspect to put the vehicle in park and let the window down. The suspect complied at first but put the vehicle in drive, made a U
turn, and began to flee the scene, going eastbound on Stagecoach Rd.
I began to pursue the vehicle in heavy traffic; the suspect showed no regard for public safety and drove recklessly, passing
vehicles on the shoulder and driving into oncoming traffic in a no-passing zone, reaching speeds over 95 mph. During the
pursuit, the suspect vehicle struck another vehicle (see eCash report #202403323ASP), causing minor damage. The vehicle
continued eastbound on Stagecoach before losing control and sliding into the ditch at Stagecoach Rd. and Herndon Ln.
The driver, Bradyn Crump, was taken into custody without further incident.
A vehicle search was conducted on the vehicle and revealed a tan Glock 19 magazine with 17 rounds of 9mm, approximately
1 gram of marijuana, and twelve hundred dollars (1,200) in cash.
I transported Crump to Baptist Hospital for minor injuries related to the incident. While at the hospital, Crump was read his
Miranda Rights, and he verbally acknowledged that he understood. Crump then told me that he had been riding around in his
vehicle smoking marijuana before the incident. Crump also said to me that he had thrown a Glock 19 handgun from the vehicle
during the pursuit, Crump wrote a sworn statement, stating that he had been smoking marijuana and that he threw the handgun
out of the vehicle during the pursuit.
Crump was read his DWI statement of rights and provided a urine sample at the Baptist ER bathroom which I then took
possession of. The urine sample was stored at Troop A headquarters and submitted to the crime lab for processing. I also
submitted the magazine, 9mm ammo, and marijuana to the Troop A evidence custodian for storage.
After being medically cleared and released from the hospital, I transported Crump to PCRJ, where he was booked and
charged with the following charges:
• 5-13-204 Agg. Assault,
• 5-54-125 Fleeing (Fel),
• 5-73-120 Carrying a Weapon,
• 5-53-111 Tampering Evidence,
• 5-65-103 Driving While Intoxicated (drugs),
• 27-50-302 Reckless Driving,
• 27-16-602 Expired Drivers License
• 27-51-601 Fail to Stop or Yield,

The driver was definitely guilty of all these actions, but this is charg stacking
Another model citizen who immediately wants to call their mama after they get arrested!
He cooden breeve ee-duh..
You are mistaken sir, this fine individual was on his way to church, and then college.
People just need to not run from the ASP, you will never win.

"Call your momma!! What are you a child?"
Best line ever.

These boys always want to call momma. That's because they don't know who poppa is.
cause poppa always in jail ..............

Always? Sounds like counting the hits and ignoring the misses. Also, if they don't have a "poppa," it's not their fault...
I have a better chance of winning the lottery before someone asks for thier dad’s
Once he learned he caught some felony charges, the perp immediately lost interest in calling his mother.

Always love the self-PIT! I hope the pole makes a full recovery.
Big tough guy wants to call his mommy.
Hats off to all those motorists who knew a car flying past at 100 mph meant ASP in pursuit.
Ya I was impressed with how many people anticipated a police chase down there, appeared to pull over well ahead of time.
His behavior was inconsistent with an honorable, clear-headed, intelligent, respectful and considerate human being.
On his way to church, no doubt.
Take the award for most well spoken comment
He was just out filling out job applications
In my day, born in the mid 80's, the last thing we wanted to do was call our parents if we had a run in with police. I would pick anyone else in the world besides my mom as my first phone call.
You’re about the age of my sons, and they would agree with you.
@@makeminetexas3494my children as well
Hahahaha true. Me personally I never skipped school, never smoked weed (except once) never got into trouble with the police because I feared and respected my parents. These days kids just don’t care about anyone but themselves.
Best call is the bail bondsman. 😎
I was born in 71 and would’ve rather faced the police and jail before facing my parents. Would’ve happily told the judge to keep me inside as long as you want, hoping Mom and Dad would just forget about me. 😂
This gentleman is obviously a doctoral candidate.

Tough as nails, too!!
"Can I call my momma", just a cultural difference.
Very odd, isn't it, how they never want to call for their poppas? Oh...never mind...I forgot....

I will never understand why people do such stupid things. Thank you, Police Pursuits for including the Trooper's Narrative. I very much appreciate your doing so.
I am surprised he not be runnin' in the woods.
THE USUAL NON CONTRIBUTOR TO SOCIETY
WRONG!...He keepin the cops, courts, public defenders, and prisons in business...lmao!
........so I'll just pit myself and wait in the car for you. Then can I call my Mom?
Gee, black suspect. Imagine my shock.
He cant BREAVE too!
If it wasn't for the usual suspects, most of these channels wouldn't exist and there would hardly be any videos..
Classic example of his race.
Can you even imagine pulling a car over in today's time 😮 These officers are brave! ❤
I think it's different being an officer considering they have the legal authority to execute people who even kind threaten them
Shocking who ran! Never surprised in these chases!
Bravo Mike used the stop/start technique to gain a few extra seconds. Suspect then drove recklessly through traffic and lost all advantage by striking another vehicle. Why did he flee? Could it be the gun, the drugs, the active warrant, or the expired driver's license? ASP removed him from the vehicle, and later his momma was informed her son is a...
to finish your sentence
"...her son is a D.A.N."
I'm amazed at how many cars actually pulled over for the police 😮
Stopping, waiting until the Trooper gets out of the car, then taking off and running serves only one purpose.. to piss off the Trooper and guarantee they'll be more determined to catch you.
But then I guess critical thought processes aren't in the job description for a felon.\
@5:29 "can I call my Mom?" FFS grow up.
I must be psychic, for I knew it would be a member of the 13% when I clicked on the video.
Same old song and dance
Runnin' from the last guys on the planet you should run from.

Self Pit Champion 2024.
"can i talk to my mom?" seriously dude. youre a fucking adult and could have easily killed someone and you want to talk to mommy?
Great...he throws a gun out the window so someone else can find it and use it in a crime
At 2:30 the purp should have took the interstate, no skills for big boy fleeing. Then wants to call his momma, com'on man!

Big surprise the suspect. And then he wants to call his Mommy?? 😂😂😂
Yup, so easy to guess the runners... young & dumb

I'll say it again, i love Arkansas state troopers and the police.
Gotta love all the people who just had a car zoom by a 100+ MPH and still don't pull over to a siren. This guy had such a big lead, he could have stopped and ran into the woods.
Mom and dad are going to love this child for totaling out the car.
Yep, just as I thought..
No surprises here..
The usual suspects
It's like everyone knows what's happening. They just pull over and let the chase go on by.
I love that the sirens are hooked up to 'Park' position on the transmission. Good call.
15.1% of Arkansas population.
Curious how calm these criminals are after all that...I guess criminals get used to it
Top!
Cool to see all the law abiding drivers pulling over.
Dang! And he was wearing his lucky matching red shorts and red shoes. Dat ain't right.
These criminals with complete disregard for all other citizens is when everyone wishes "deceased" was in the description

no surprise there.
These two officers are quite stylish and neat. They seem like they just got out of a barbershop.
I really hate seeing nice vehicles get ruined.
We already knew
At least he could breeve ok
The center square of Police Pursuits Bingo: "Can I call my Momma?"
With all of these car chases I'm seeing from Arkansas, I'm starting to think penalties and fines for felony fleeing must be a joke. Criminals must be walking in and out of jail like walking in and out of 7-11 stores in Arkansas.
Not so sure... We see a lot of the same troopers, but not a lot of the same perps.
@johnbize5736
I'll have to start paying attention to names I guess. It just seems there's quite a bit of these videos coming out of Arkansas compared to other states. I really shouldn't jump to conclusions and what I said was sorta in jest. It's just like seeing a bunch of Walmart shoplifting arrests videos. You start to wonder if Walmart shoplifters get any jail time... even with the repeat offenders.
@@supersquirrel7546 Oh I agree with you, but it all depends on the state. Fleeing like that is not a felony in all states. And I believe ASP is king when it comes to PITs/TVIs. But I think the real difference is the ease with which the CZcamsrs can get the videos. Florida was among the first with it's "Sunshine Laws." What I'm saying is that we perceive that what we see tells the whole story, but in fact, we just see the low hanging fruit.
@johnbize5736
We may be seeing the low hanging fruits but I still think there's a problem with our court systems regarding penalties, fines and parole. It seems like our modern day criminals are treating some crimes as if they're not even crimes anymore. It seems courts make it easier for repeat crimes to also be of very little consequences to society. I don't know how many videos I've seen of drivers being caught driving on suspended license, no insurance and no registration for the Xth time. You really have to wonder how and why our Judicial System softened up compared to the past. I know this subject of debate can be sensitive to some so I won't go any further. I guess we're all stuck with what we have at any given place in the US. And not everyone has free time and money to go change legislation.
Those red pants should be a felony.
@5:20- "Send in the Clowns"
At first he didn't have a driver's side mirror. When it ended I now expect the to see the vehicle at Copart because it needs more than just a side mirror.
