Officers with the Little Rock Police Department were advised of a stolen GMC Canyon that was being tracked by OnStar emergency services. As Officers responded to the area, one LRPD Officer locates the truck at a gas station. A high speed pursuit begins. You can see in the video where OnStar activates the truck's hazard lights as further indication that they were chasing the correct vehicle. The chase enters the busy Interstate 440 where the stolen truck driver turns around and begins heading the wrong direction. The passenger jumps out of the moving truck and is captured moments later.
The driver refuses to stop. Eventually, OnStar disables the truck, but the driver refuses to comply with officers. Multiple TASER deployments are ineffective and the driver releases the brake. The truck rolls forward as officers continue to chase. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

With all the possibilities of drugs being absorbed through skin nowadays, I find it VERY SHOCKING that officers don’t wear gloves with EVERY search! It should be mandatory if you ask me…! 😊❤

The passenger has spent some time in prison. He keeps referring to the Officer as boss man which is what a lot of inmates call corrections officers. Would also like to note that OnStar did a crappy job of disabling the vehicle.
OnStar does a crappy job at everything.
They don't totally disable so it doesn't become a incontrollable 4500 lb brick. Friend had a gmc pickup, owned it about 2 years. OnStar came on and said this is a stolen vehicle, it will be disabled in 30 seconds. He tried to tell them he owned it, was paid for, but it was a machine. Said it did just like this, drove it for a mile on the shoulder then the cops came with the felony stop. Found out OnStar did a "crappy job" had a typo in the number and the wrong truck.
He traded the next day, said he'd never own another gm or any vehicle someone else could do that to.
And the low-rider pants
When OnStar came out 25 years ago I removed dozens and dozens for customers that might have done shady things for a living ...all the feds needed was a court order to track and listen to everything you did....lol now days people carry a phone that feds do the same thing but now they don't bother with court order ...just farm out surveillance to other countries

That took an awfully long time to disable the vehicle
My thoughts exactly 💯
That's what I was thinking. Were they sending the signal by carrier pigeon? OnStar fine print - "May take 3-5 business days to disable vehicles"
OnStar has to have proof of ownership and permission from the owner before disabling and that takes a bit. That's the reason for the length of time. The police can't just demand it.
The cops were talking to OnStar. They waited until it was safe to shut the truck off.

It’s weird seeing a chase in Arkansas where ASP isn’t involved.
They would pit him..👮♂️🚔
Ever seen the city of Hazen be involved? Small town on the interstate between LR and the river. They still have the 150mph Chargers, and they do TVIs too. Town of 800 in the west, central plains of Arkansas, City Chief has one of those Demon Eye/Red Eye, whatever they are called supercharged Chargers. Likely a forfeit car he claimed. Seen him run 162-165mph on a 2 lane for around 8 minutes to intercept a interstate chase, went around the ASP and did the TVI.
While you have a valid point, the pursuit would have been much longer and worse with out any intervention.

And he was clearly not gonna run on foot! This is the first time I've seen a suspect driver in a stolen car not try to run on foot once the vehicle is disabled.
I don't believe that the Onstar ever totally disabled it, looked like the engine was at idle.
I heard the engine cranking the driver was blocked in but didn't turned over until later.
For legal liability purposes (partial loss of steering and braking capability), the only thing that Onstar does is disable the throttle pedal. Once the vehicle is in park and shut off, then they can disable the ignition. The idea that Onstar shuts the vehicle off at any speed is a complete myth.
Limp mode.😅
There's a governor that OnStar initiates and it puts the vehicle in idle but the driver overrode that and started getting away till they stopped him. Why didn't OnStar do the kill switch?
Kill switch was never fully activated because the driver never shifted to park.

I completely disagree. It depends on the style and the reason for wanting to wear that particular ring. One of mine is a massive antique diamond solitare surrounded by a ring guard with six half-carat diamonds. Another I bought myself because I liked it, about half a caret. Another is one I had given my son as a young teen. A simple silver band. The rest of the rings I might have on are subject to my mood. I wear the class rings of my mother and aunt, 1938 and 1921 respectively, quite often, too. I wear them for reasons, not for a gimmick. I rarely wear more than 5. I always have 3 on. I also have silver around each wrist, 24/7. A lacy cuff and a 3/8th" flat Byzantine chain. I have beaded bracelets in every color in natural opaque stones that I add to the chain wrist. I feel naked without my jewelry. I have square, masculine hands. the jewelry gets noticed, not my hands. Hey, I said folks wear stuff for real reasons.
