Be respectful of our country’s traditions or don’t bother coming here.
Well said 🏴
Tell that to our new dingy people replacements, those parasites don't respect cultures they destroy them.
Bruh you have invited millions of middle east immigrants to your country who does not give a single damn about your tradition, even your PM is a foreigner.
Don't touch gaurds or horses they r working.Would you dothis 2 a blind dawg guide? Have some respect or don't bother dissing them.😡😤😈🏴
Following tradition is silly, especially this fancy polished,,,
The bloke was so brave until the guard stamped his foot, and then he ran like the coward he really is.
Guy most probably came across the channel in a rubber boat
Most people are like this.
The lad is deaf! Not think of that???
@@victoriacharlesworth7099 No he isn't hahaha. He was throwing up gang signs. He is a child though, of school age. Not a bloke.
He probably pee pee on himself 😂❤

The sword moved tbf.
He even yelped 😂
Little girly boys always jump and squeal like that 😂😂😂
Gang signs. Glad you explained, I thought he was having some sort of convulsion. That's what passes as "cool" these days?
@@Chris-dm1je That's exactly what I was wondering, I thought there was something wrong with him.
These are serving soldiers who deserve respect. I'd like to thank them all for what they do. They have my utmost respect.
I get the impression these people treat the Guards like they're merely actors. I'm a military veteran so seeing so much gross disrespect towards your Guards angers me. Absolutely shameful!
He's a dog. Do you respect dogs? I like them, but 'respect'...
From gangsta to pussy cat in half a second. Hilarious.
all of them. wanna be gangstarz.

These Soliders could have been in combat or anything. Not guys to muck around with. Well done that Soldier.🇬🇧🚔
Teenage boy in school uniform throwing up gang signs... I'm sure he has a great future in front of him as a doctor, lawyer or engineer
Is that what it was?
I wondered too, what in the world was he was doing
He nearly crapped himself when confronted by a real man. He’s not so gangster now.
He's a kid being a kid.
Pity the guard didn't use the sword.
Little boy in yellow jacket knows how to show respect more than adults!💜
I thought that he took his hood down stood straight and stepped away
The little guy will grow up to be a man. The other boy will not. Well done to the first mum!
People are so disrespectful, passing so close to the Royal Guard and even brushing up against him. Give them space.
The level of disrespect these soldiers have to deal with is disgraceful. When we were kids in the 70's we might have been noisy, or silly, but we didn't disrespect figures of authority like this. How times have changed for the worse.
Steve Connolly from Cov?
@@stephenpain9236 no, from Scotland. Billy's brother.
We knew we were likely to get a punch in the mouth which is sadly lacking these days.
It irritates me when people stand behind the guard , surely it's uncomfortable for him. Some tourists have no respect for our traditions .
@@stephenpain9236 No, but I have been there 😊
I've seen this guard several times and he doesn't take crap from the public. Great soldier, now if they would let horses get a few kicks in It would make my day.
Yup - agree with your sentiments. Those kids at the end needed some lessons in how to be polite and file past properly - they don't seem to realise that these aren't toy soldiers. As for the piss-taker, I think an intro to a sharp point wouldn't go amiss!!
And mine 😂
Theres a few stables out the back there that need mucking out, and the worst offenders get given a spoon.
Yes totally agree 👍
Agree with the last half of your *sentiment but not the first. If they didn't "take crap from the public" and delt with it swiftly, it would not continue, let alone be getting worse.
Hmmmmm no one screaming racism ??? Shocking , usually the only word they know
My brother in laws eldest sibling had the honour of doing guard duty, they went to see him in London and said even with all his family stood close by and proudly looking at him, not a smile not a hint of recognition that they were there.. A soldier doing his duty! 👍 His Dad was even more proud of that reaction, as I'm sure any of us would be. Top man Geoff, I'm proud just to know him.
It surprises me as a parent how have we raised generations to be so rude , unapologetic and self important. We weren’t raised this way. What has changed.
No discipline anywhere, school, home, all gone!!
@@wendynicholss6886 It started with people not being allowed to discipline their own brats. Nanny state Britain
Short Sharp Shocks are no longer allowed ….. as a child of the 1950’s ( youngest of 6 kids from a single parent family) I had a mother who taught us right from wrong … good from bad … respect for your elders … mind your manners … to read and write and that nothing in life is free … work hard and enjoy the benefits of your labour .. don’t whinge and tell tales … Short Sharp Shocks never did me any harm … in fact it makes you respect the authority of your parents in shaping your life choices …..
I don't know about his case but being born within 2 miles of Brixton and Peckham next to the, existing, largest Council Estate in Northern Europe,I never knew any working-class family without 2 parents with (to varying degrees) the Dad giving emotional, practical and financial help to the Mum.
In those same areas by the Mid-1970s, only around 40% of children had that benefit and that percentage got lower and lower.
You, rarely, see this in West African, Asiatic, Jewish and Chinese families where 98% of kids are still given the "best possible chance".....
What has changed is mass immigration, isn't it obvious?
My father served in the King's Life Guards in the 1930s and forties. He would be disgusted by the behaviour of some of the modern tourists. They aren't toys.
My Uncle likewise in the 50s ,like animals
I find this all rather humiliating. This is meant to be about tradition, now its just a tourist photo opp. Should be stopped now.

You go blues and royals and the life guards, can't thank you enough for keeping us safe and free 😊
Those ignorant tourists have no idea the amount of discipline it takes to stand a post like this guard has to do; far as I'm concerned, he has amazing restraint!!
That's why I could never ever be one
Pity we need their £ at all. Consolation i guess.
They're not just ceremonial soldiers, they are real combat troops
Absolutely. It's one thing to guard a gate or some such where few people but the military travel to but guarding a major tourist attraction with thousands of tourists essentially interfering with your duty on a daily basis has to be intolerable and frustrating. I'm guessing their training must include some sort of extreme hazing while being forced to stand at attention for hours at a time. They do their job remarkably well under what I would call extreme conditions.
Would you rather he had run him through? The police step in if someone gets too silly. That's what they're there for.
I commend this soldier for his patience and also his swift action to get rid of that disrespectful thug.

One of the Diversity failures no respect from certain groups .
A lot of people don't realize that the guards aren't just there for show, or for ceremonial reasons. They're all real soldiers, many of whom have served abroad, and if they believe the King is in danger they WILL retaliate to neutralise the threat!
Mad respect for that Guard. It has to be maddening to be treated like a sideshow attraction instead of a working soldier.
Brave boy with his "Gangsta" signs, and trousers full of pooh!
Look how close they are and walking behind him as if he was nothing
It’s really a shame isn’t it.
They're thick. Thickos are on the increase since the pandemic. It'll only get worse
The guard must have the patience of a saint. These vids just serve to prove that 80% of people are nothing more than cannon fodder. Ignorant scruffy morons.
I was about to say the same. Some were brushing against him. Teachers/Parents need to take charge.
What a bunch of ignorant people
The soldier is the epitome of courage and professionalism and makes all who look at him minuscule
Good for the guard. Respect and manners. Thank you for your service.
Cheeky prat has no respect making fun to his friends about the guardsman but jumped and squealed like a little girl when he moved . 😂❤ cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 😊😊
I really think boundaries should be set. No one should be getting that close to the guards.
Why? Those aren’t prop swords. I can assure you the guards can easily handle this. The majority of tourists just stood next to him and got a picture. I don’t see the reason in ruining it for everyone just because of a few bad apples.
We shouldn't be allowed within so many feet. It's stressful enough standing still without 100’s of 'ants' crawling around you at will. Somebody CHANGE THE RULES. THANK YOU KING CHARLES
Notice the two armed police officers, idling chatting when they should be doing their jobs of staying vigilant!
Those children being allowed to brush past like he’s nothing total disrespect, I have seen this guard before totally looks the part his family must be so proud of him and rightly so 🫡
Yes I noticed this crowd of school children pushing past him. Was there no adults in charge of them ?

Never piss off a man with a saber. Especially when he’s trained in its use.
They are not trained to use sabres. They are purely ceremonial.
I can't believe the attitude of the public towards these Guards, crowding round him like that is disgusting. These are highly skilled men who should be shewn absolute respect at all times.
Haha, the hypocrisy and double standards are hilarious!
I'm surprised he didn't demand they step away from him as the students crowded around him. Vey rude and the teachers themselves were rude for letting that horde crowd around the soldier!
@@uzniql8015 In what way?
Dude he is standing on a sidewalk. He is not doing anything but standing there. Sorry but it just doesn’t seem he needs space to do anything meaningful anyways.
@@adamskinner-fu4vb The whole guard thing is kind of stupid and pointless, just a tradition now. But these guards are still actual soldiers, not just actors or something, and I'm pretty sure the tourists don't understand that when they crowd around them. And I mean you called it a sidewalk so you are most definitely one of those tourists 😭
The solution's obvious. The Tower's nearby.
Loved the stomp and the wimpy squeal he made running away.
Me being a proud London born English man, I say this with real concern for these soldiers, they are vulnerable to attack from all manner of nutters out there. It’s time to change how close the public get to them and the service horses. I worked at the barracks years back, won’t say which one but these are soldier’s not cheap photo souvenirs.
I agree that they are not cheap photo souvenirs and hate to see tourists treating them like this, and morons in the comments here saying they are in fancy dress or other nonsense. However there are police with firearms to deal with serious threats, and the Guardsman would handle himself no problem against a less lethal threat. Look how him just coming to attention scared that idiot.

Why are these ignorant people going so close to this guard. They have no spatial awareness at all. It looks at one point as if the guard was going to be bumped into. Who is meant to be supervising these rude kids.
Those are my thoughts exactly. Someone must be there supervising these rude teenagers. They should also educate them before the trip as to rules and regulations to be observed where they are going.
This is London all over. No one has any spatial awareness anymore. You walk down the street and nobody moves over or makes any space. Everyone is looking at their dam phone.

What do those silly signs mean that the boy was doing? The guard is fantastic. 🇬🇧👍
I always feel sorry for the guards. I would find particularly irritating everyone wanting a picture taken standing next to me, even if they were just standing there, while I'm required to stand there emotionless, immobile. That takes concentration and dedication. Imagine strangers standing so close to you - it looks uncomfortable. I know I step away if some stranger stands that close to me - he's not allowed, so how do you think he feels?
It is disgusting just how disrespectful many tourists are but the self control and discipline of these soldiers shows how much better they are.

I have to agree. Back in the 70’s early 80’s I served with the Coldstream Guards and covered Buck Palace, Jimmy’s, Windsor & Tower of London.
