The Rules of The Game

Have you ever started a new game and found the rules confusing? Maybe someone was teaching you and was unclear or incomplete in the process. Maybe you thought you understood the strategy and still found yourself not winning a single game.
Well, for me, that was life.
I was quite successful in my career and enjoyed the financial freedom that brought me. In all of that, I still was unhappy. I still was angry. I still was lost and looking for something more.
I thought I understood what winning this game of life was all about, and then.
I lost big time!
In this dark hour, the questions I began asking myself uncovered some major mysteries. You see, how could I win the game when I didn’t understand the rules?
The first thing I realized and truly owned was believing that this is a game.
I then questioned my perspective on everything and began taking life “less seriously.”
I learned to nurture my inner child and actually follow her wisdom.
You see that child has no preconceived ideas of what I am capable of. There are no limits and there are infinite possibilities. That inner child has the ancient wisdom I was seeking.
Tapping into this fun and joy and, well, deliciousness of life is what I help my clients to experience as well. Understanding is one step, owning who I am is the next.
This game of life is full of experiences that I choose to respond to. I let that curious and joyful child choose.
For me, next level living is how I navigate my experiences.
