Nah jk, we do that with other spices but for that one , we use so much we leave it out but if you forget to put the cap on🤦🏾
If you can grow your own you can upgrade stuff too. Love grabbing the managers special poke and upgrading it at home. The one i did yesterday was 3 Hawaiian chili peppers, 1 lemongrass, small piece ginger, leaf of dill all crushed up in my mortar and pestle and then I poured in some long fermented soy sauce and let it absorb the flavors for a few hours. Spoon that sauce all over the poke add in some extra fresh cut onion, green onion, and cilantro close the lid and shake em around then let it rest in the fridge a few hours and it's good to go broke some mouths.
Ooohhh that sounds Ono… the lemon grass must be refreshing pop to that sauce
@@onfirefishinghawaii It does, and the fruitfulness of Hawaiian chili's can be be detected + the spice is delayed after reacting with the salt for so long. Surprisingly to me though I added a little bit of the chili skins by accident and those were loaded with the lemongrass flavor so I think next time I'll soak some onions in the sauce too to absorb and act as flavor packs. I'm thinking I'll only add little bit onions to the sauce and add the rest fresh later.

Mahalo Brother🤙 yeah if you like fried chicken you going love this… and if you like em more crispy outside, dust em with seasoned flour or cornstarch then fry. I like to just salt and pepper and deep fry till crunchy
