The reason this is happening in Sudan is bc the US is pissed that Sudan made a deal with Russia for Russia to build a military base there. This is happening in Sudan bc Sudan doesn't want the US military in their country anymore, which is why they invited Russia to build a base. This is happening in Sudan bc the US/CIA want to politically control Sudan and Sudan is no longer having it. The teππoπists fighting the gov/military of Sudan are US/CIA trained militias attempting to overthrow the current sudanese government. What's happening is the US/CIA are attempting yet another coup of a sovereign country

@@lisaa2104 Unfortunately wars create refugees and with refugees you get discrimination and two culture not being able to combine. We are seeing this with Europe, if a Sudanese refugee commits a crime it will get lumped with all Sudanese refugees or refugees in general. If a country in Europe has it's crime rate rise it will be attributed with refugees whether it be true or not as this is how it has been historically, blame always gets shifted towards minority group for the issues of a country, Hitler did this and was able to build N@zi germany, I fear for these people that they will be again victims of the rising distaste towards refugees and migrants in Europe. I believe that Europe has a right to choose who to let into their borders but I can't help but feel sympathy for the refugees of theses crisis that truly have no where to go. If they leave their country they are hated because unfortunately when you have open borders criminals and extermists go through as well and if they stay they only wait for their deaths. These were ordinary people with ordinary lives, from doctors, farmers, shoe polishers etc. and now they are forced into exile.

Hi Johnny, as always - an incredibly well-made video.
Thanks for bringing attention to an otherwise unkown and under-reported conflict (as most conflicts in Africa are). An intersting topic you might want to consider covering next is the insurgency & conflict in the Cabo Delgado province in northern Mozambique. The entire history of Mozambique has been tumultuous at best, and this incredibly beautiful country has been fighting a war since 2017 involving everyone from ISIS to the Wagner Group. Furthermore, this conflict seems to be completely ignored in the mainstream media. I think your style of visual storytelling, with high-quality maps and thorough research, would be a perfect platform to explain the current situation there.
Looking forward to your next videos, and keep up the good work!

Absolutely, its insane what happened in Mozambique and insane that it was covered so little, because at first everyone thought an islamic group had formed akin to Al-Shabaab regarding local grievances with oil companies and oppression of Islamic minorities (also akin to ADF in Congo). But then you got a lot of news saying that the Al Shabaab name was not an official affiliation with the Somali group, but actually a cover for drug trade operating on the coast? Idk its frustrating there wasn’t a lot of news coverage so i might be entirely wrong

Kudos for the editing. It was engaging from beginning. With your use of montages you gave a visual companion in sinq with your narration. Yeah definitely a 'like' especially for covering a war that no other news organisation in the US is reporting on.

Also I’m a long time cybersecurity engineer and I use Incogni too! I see data brokers/my personal information being public as a professional liability so it’s important to me to have experts in privacy perform the removal process and if I were to do it (and I’ve attempted it) it would take an absurd amount of time and it’s a process you need to continue to repeat). Also, there’s just an absurd amount of information out there on everyone and it’s likely being collected on you as we watch this video. As someone who has seen what’s out there, it’s super cool there’s a service like this out there plus we can all support one of our favorite CZcamsrs!

The reason this is happening in the US is bc the US is pissed that Sudan made a deal with Russia for Russia to build a military base there. This is happening in Sudan bc Sudan doesn't want the US military in their country anymore, which is why they invited Russia to build a base. This is happening in Sudan bc the US/CIA want to politically control Sudan and Sudan is no longer having it. The teππoπists fighting the gov/military of Sudan are US/CIA trained militias attempting to overthrow the currant sudanese government. What's happening is the US/CIA are attempting yet another coup of a sovereign country

Hey Johnny! Greatly appreciate you making this video and bringing light to the fighting taking place in my home country. I was in Khartoum when the fighting broke out, and it shocked us all. I did want to say that I've heard conflicting reasons for why the fighting started, and who is responsible for it. In the video, you state that it was action taken place by the RSF when the new agreement required the RSF to be absorbed into the SAF that led to the conflict (i.e. the attack on Burhan's compound). While true the RSF reportedly mobilized their forces first across Sudan before the conflict started, the reports I heard on the morning the violence broke out was that the SAF initiated violent action by attacking an RSF base in southern Khartoum. What I mean by all of this is that who started the violence, and for what reason is much more complicated than just Hemedti wanting to maintain his military-business enterprise. The SAF, especially the Islamic elite within the SAF (similar to the Muslim Brotherhood, and what in Sudan we call "Al-Kayzan") also have interests in disrupting and ending any hopes of democratic transition and civilian rule.

Thanks Johnny Harris & @Mu3azOsman for shedding light on what's happening in my home country with a quality video like we're used to! One small correction and addition there on an important period to the plot line that you've skipped (from post-revolution 2019 up to December 2022), where Burhan actually played a significant role in enabling and enlarging the RSF militia, and their marriage resulted in a coup d'etat in late 2021 on the civilian government of the transitional period. This is where it all started to crumble as tensions between the two started to rise over power and class ending with this atrocious conflict recking-havoc on the Sudanese people who have nothing to do with it.

Your country is accustomed to living off slaves, with servants bowing down to them. That is the main difference between Russians and you. Russians have neighbors, partners, friends... a wide range of collaborators depending on the status of their relationship, suitable or not for certain joint actions to some extent. Russia's joint actions with a partner are based on certain needs. This doesn't mean that Russia is incapable of doing something on its own, but sometimes it's nicer to work with a friend or someone more experienced and learn from them. The eventual gains from that joint action are distributed proportionally to the strength/efforts of both partners. The one who has done more and is stronger receives more, while smaller partners receive less due to their smaller capabilities and efforts, according to agreed-upon contracts... and not a millimeter less than the agreed-upon agreement.
In the West, you have allies, and you are all similar or speak a similar language. Most of you had colonies and slaves everywhere. That connects most of you as something common. You do love slavery; it can be felt even if you have changed the form of servitude. You have been looking down on the rest of the world for far too long. Instead of being our sincere guides towards something better and friends we wanted to have and admired, you decided to deceive us, enslave us, and use us as disposable material for your colored revolutions to divide us among ourselves, to destroy our countries and heritage, to change our history in elementary school textbooks. You destroyed us with lies and deception. You killed humanity and everything sacred that was within us for the sake of your profit. That's what sets you apart from the Russians, and that's why you have a problem with Russia.
