No seriously though, what a nostalgia trip. I remember being able to roll around outside and asking to play a little longer. Disney knew exactly what they were doing with their animation, and it's amazing. - Komedie
I love that winnie the pooh films are a game of pass the brain cell and roo always seems to have a lot of the time

Roo's voice actor was apparently 15, I'm still not sure how he accomplished that childlike voice here.

Piglet is voiced by the German voice actor of SpongeBob or him sounding like his german voice from the "Sold!" Episode?
and rabbit's voice in the 2011 film is Spongebob, Tom Kenny. Then they butchered the character by making him a bland looking Peter Capaldi voiced thing in the live action film, because the writers really hated Rabbit apparently.

I remembered the song when Roo & Lumpy were rolling down hills and swimming, I thought it was such an adventurous and inspiring summertime anthem as a little one.

Ah yes, the movie where Roo becomes friends with the lavender elephant lumpy. While the gang goes on a crazy search to find Roo. My favorite movie next to The Tigger Movie. That movie had me in tears.
Rewatched that movie months ago and never cried so much during the movie. I don't know why it's always Disney movies that gets me. Maybe it's the innocence

That’s before Disney became a greedy tyrant obsessed of dominating culture and making money by making lifeless live action remakes of the originals.
Thank god there are companies out there like Dreamworks, Illumination & Paramount that are good and forgivable.(Although there is talk about a live action HTTYD movie coming soon in 2025 so let’s just see how Dreamworks handles a live action remake of the original?)

This was literally my favorite Winnie the Pooh movie when I was a kid. I loved pretending I was playing with Roo and Lumpy during their friendship song and dancing along to the song that played with end credits 😭

All 3 of these Winnie the Pooh films (Tigger, Piglet *and* Heffalump) are criminally underrated! The fact that they all got theatrical releases at all was a nice change of pace from the usual direct-to-video route!

@@NicheNostalgia well the critics give this movie, piglet and tigger movie very mixed score 6 or 7 at best. While Winnie Pooh 2011 is worshiped hard it’s good but not that good . These are very underrated and feel good nostalgic movies

I think I was technically a bit too old for this film when it first came out but I still loved it and when Lumpy's sad bc they couldn't find his mom I actually teared up.
I dunno about the original english, but in the swedish dub he just sounded so sad in such a real "child about to cry"-way and it rly got to me ;_;

Tbh, this is my favorite Winnie The Pooh movie. I always loved the focus on Roo instead, and forbidden friendships/relationships are some of my favorite concepts.
The whole vibe of this movie really touched me and I found it very pleasant (i still love the scene where Roo frees Lumpy of his rope and later frees him from the cage trap as his mother watches with pride) !
This channel is hilarious and really underrated

I rewatched this movie recently as an 18 year old and I was sobbing when they threw their ropes around Lumpy.
I never had the chance to watch it when it came out, but my little sister was obsessed with the promos and wallpapers. I think for a kid could be scary, but if we're talking about Pooh's scary movies then we should admit that Pooh And His Grand Adventure was even more scarier!! And that one is also meme material. 😂

But in Roo’s case, even if he’s a kid who lives with his mother, that’s part of the name pun; he’s shown to have more courage than pretty much everyone else.
I saw this for the first time in theaters. It was awesome. I'm surprised you left out Rabbit trying to lure the heffalumps though, as well as when tiger was copying him. Those parts had us laughing out loud. XD
