Huh. Outside of swapping Pym for Stark, Banner and Jarvis, the movie followed the Ultron beats pretty closely. Imagine that.

I think it was in Avengers EMH cartoon Hank said that the Ultron head design was based off an ants head, hence the antenna.
Also, not a fan of Kurt Busiek, but making Ultron essentially evil Hank Pym was brilliant.

I recently discovered your channel. This is a wonderful place for me. I started reading Marvel Comics (and DC!) in the late 70s and early 80s. You masterfully meld the past and present, which in turn rekindles my interest in the lives of the characters. Nice job!

Last I saw of the Hank Pym Ultron thing he was looking at Hank Pym Soul being projected over the top of the soul gem.

There was also Annihilation Conquest which *spoilers* had the big bad behind the Phalanx invasion in space be Ultron. Ultorn pretty much takes over Kree space and infects a bunch of characters (including Ronan, Gamora, Drax, and Nova the latter who ends up fighting off the infection) and he even takes over Adam Warlock's body. What gets me is that after achieving all this power and taking over one of the most powerful Empires his ultimate goal is to go to Earth and stick it to Hank Pym, lol. Fortunately Nova, Star-Lord, Quasar, and the other cosmic heroes are able to stop him.
