Such a beautiful sword, I love this style of crossguard but my favourite part is the blade profile, nice a broad at the base with a distinct profile taper and perfect fuller.
Freerk, you have the most fascinating style of not only your smithing, but the editing. Hats of to you or whomever does it for you. Especially during these "complete" versions. The pace and visual explaination is on a pin point! 😉👍 And you continue to get better at your trade which seems preposterous considering the masterful items I've watched you make for years. It boggles the mind. -✌️
My brother I love your videos your swords and daggers are perfection I wish you had a store where I can purchase your work it is well worth the money. Great job
What is the green "paint" that u used before putting in the forge? I'm trying to make my own sword, second attempt, using 5160 steel. The first one had microcracks in various places, and i think that it was caused by the wrong quenching temperature... Anyway, congrats on the sword and keep that awesome work!
With hilt of leather and blade of steel, The arming sword is a warrior's zeal. Forged with fire and the blacksmith's skill, It brings both death and honor at will. In battle it sings with a deadly sound, As it cuts through armor and flesh unbound. With every stroke, a life is taken, A debt to be paid, an oath unshaken. In the hands of a knight, it's a symbol of power, A tool of justice in a chaotic hour. With each thrust and parry, it tells a tale, Of bravery, strength, and the will to prevail. But beyond the battlefield, it has a story to tell, Of a time when honor and duty rang like a bell. A time when chivalry was the code of the land, And a knight's word was as good as a bond. So let us remember this weapon of old, A symbol of courage, a story untold. For in its steel and in its blade, Lies the spirit of a warrior, forever unafraid.

Have you made and hand and a half sword yet? Love watching your builds but can't remember if that was one or not.
